Chef Paul Capoziello and his wife Ingrid began their panini adventure by opening Capo Ristorante. Paul, a former chef of Manhattan restaurants, wanted to make his mark and bring his delicious food to Long Island. Paul is able to bring his creative dishes
There is an old Saturday Night Live skit about a restaurant, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger ... the only thing they served was Cheeseburgers. Well, Capo can proudly proclaim, Panini, Panini, Panini, because, according to their brand slogan, Panini Is Our Business, Food Is Our Passion. They are so correct, there are so many panini variations to choose from, each carefully prepared and each a gastronomic delight. Yes, you can get a great salad, and, if you ask Paul politely, you can order traditional Italian dishes prepared with the same care and love dished out to your panini. When in Floral Park, stop by Capo, you will be happy you did.

Delicious pizzas and Italian dishes handcrafted by same family as the original Umberto's of New Hyde Park. Famous for delicious Sicilian, Grandma, Neapolitan, Pan and Specialty pies as well as our Italian dishes. Community favorite for over 20 years and t
Have been going to Village for years as it's our local pizza restaurant. Pizza is good as are most of their kitchen dishes. Their best pizza is one with a thicker crust, red peppers, black olives and sausage (along with standard cheese and tomato sauce). It's spectacular !!!!

Lovely ambiance, not noisy even with full restaurant, gracious service, white cloth venue. Complementary bruschetta and fresh warm rolls and focaccia with butter and evo on table. House wine pours generous, excellent cosmos. This time around, four of us enjoyed:Stuffed pepperMussels Eggplant rollatineRavioli bologneseSole francaise Ice creamFlan (something new to dessert menu, hint of orange, caramelized syrup) SUPERAll very happy!

We couldnât find anything that suited our dietary needs. I asked the bartender if we could just get some fettuccini Alfredo, nothing else, no chicken, shrimp or anything. He said âsure, this is an Italian restaurant, we will make you what you want, your way, would you like to split the order? I said that would be great. Within 10 minutes he returned with the most delicious fettuccini Alfredo I can recall. The pasta was homemade and it was a most enjoyable, reasonably priced lunch I recall. Nice job! Kudos!

Poppy's is a great and very popular neighborhood Italian restaurant. At times there can be quite a wait (but well worth it). The service and staff are friendly and efficient. The garlic bread, eggplant Parmesan and lasagne were delicious. Surprisingly, the bread was ordinary, not especially fresh and was not warm. The salads were generous portions and had just the right amount of dressing. Satisfying meal!

We live in Las Vegas and it is hard to find New York style Italian food so when we visit we have Italian. We order things we can't get in Vegas like Baked claims which were delicious. The bread was fresh and wonderful. My husband and I both had veal francese and it did not disappoint. The only downside to this place was that it was SOOOO NOISY

This is an old, family owned Italian restaurant. It is a mainstay of the area.
The food at Stellaâs is always the best quality and taste. Consistently outstanding appetizers, entrees and desserts made fresh by a wonderful pastry chef. The Cerrone family cares for the restaurant with their heart and soul. Have gone there for regular evenings and special occasions and the staff is always professional and courteous and warm. I cannot say enough about this restaurant and just recommend that you try it!!

There's nothing special about this place....just an average "red-sauce" Italian restaurant. The food is good but not memorable, the decor is typical "Mediterranean"....th service was very attentive...the manager/owner was extremely ;personable...the prices were fair and reasonable, the wine list extensive.
