Four members of my family and myself came to this restaurant on a Monday night. It wasnât very busy which was fantastic- Especially since the first time we attempted to go to Mamma Luisa, it was a 2 hour wait. I was unaware that they took reservations, but Ive smarted up since. One of my favorite dishes, EGGPLANT ROLLANTINI was the special of the day. So I got it! It came with a house salad and a small bowl of marinara ziti pasta on the side. Three of my family did get the soup of the day. I canât remember what it was called, but it had spinach, chicken broth, a small amount of cheese. I tried everyoneâs soup and it was delicious. I regret not getting it...Appy was fresh caprese and homemade mozzarella. The house special is SALTIMBOCCA. My brother ordered this. He gave me a taste, it was fantastic. My mom had the CHICKEN SCALLOPINE CACCIATORA. Also very excellent. My 7 year old niece had kids pizza. Sis-in-law had ORZO GARDENIA. Interesting and nice flavor, but not my cup of tea. The portions at the restaurant are huge. Prices might look intimidating but you really getting two meals for one. Each of us took a doggy bag home and ate it for lunch the next day. Soft baked bread arrived at the table in the beginning of the meal. Had two bottles of red wine. Ended the meal with a port, and TIRAMISU. It was perfect as a finishing touch. We did not go home hungry! Wait staff is very accommodating and super nice. The restaurant isnât very big, probably about 20 tables. Looks like a little back east Italian café in my opinion. Itâs much better than any of the Italian restaurants down in the Phoenix Valley. It is locally owned and operated, so please give them a try! Weekends I would definitely make reservations. Sorry to say, I didnât take any pictures of my food- I was too busy eating! Mangiare!

This is absolutely ridiculous! I went in for lunch as I normally do and was charged an ADDITIONAL 10% "service fee" that was just implemented. The claimed it was to help pa their employees $15.50 an hour. That's not the minimum wage in Flagstaff for a few more years, but yet I am FORCED to pay an extra 10% on top of the nearly 12% food tax. Absolutely ridiculous and a great way for them to SCAM their customers. You shouldn't be in business if you have to charged a mandatory service fee. Consider mine, and my entire families business lost for good.

You can find this cool joint right off Interstate 40, just south of historic Route 66. Like a journey on the highway, this place takes you back in time when tasty food and great service were always on the menu. Itâs our 2nd joint in the high country, and
For a chain restaurant, I thought the Italian food was very good. Itâs not New York City Italian but we enjoyed our meal after a day touring the Grand Canyon (restaurant walking distance from our hotel in Flagstaff). This particular restaurant is not very large and on a Saturday night at 7:00, the wait time was 45 minutes (although we only waited 20). There is a small bar with open seating. The âbigâ salad versus âvery bigâ was a large enough for 3. We enjoyed the stuffed mushrooms appetizer. We ordered 2 pasta dishes and a small pizza (14â) and we brought home 1/2 of all 3 entrees. Very good size servings. I thought my basic angel hair spaghetti was excellent. The server was very friendly. Again nothing gourmet here and not like an Italian restaurant in NYC or the North End of Boston but good enough when on vacation in Arizona where Italian food isnât a speciality.

When we travel we like to try local favorite restaurants to dine at; however, after a really bad dinner the day before, we decided to stick to familiar eateries. This Olive Garden did not disappoint. We had pasta with chicken alfredo (please note that you can get an additional portion to take away for $5 more), rigatoni with pesto and chicken, zoodles with chicken and stuffed (with cheese) chicken marsala with creamed potatoes. Everything was hot and fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed.

Excellent pizza and beer lunch!Did a local Pizza restaurant search while at Flagstaff, AZ and NiMarcus came up. The place is a comfortable place with a cozy bar/restaurant feel. You walk up to the kitchen window and Eder your pizza and drinks. We ordered the Medium pizza, half pepperoni and pineapple (me), and half the Popeyeâs Special (a bunch of veggies for my wife). We also ordered two draft beers and we were ready. To our surprise, the pizza was delicious. The draft beers were also full of flavor and cold. All in all, a great lunch. Parking can be a challenge.

My brother and I had breakfast here one morning. He ordered a meatloaf breakfast, while I had a sausage & egg combo with pancakes and country potatoes. He said his was OK, but the meatloaf wasn't the best (I would say "don't have meatloaf for breakfast!") My breakfast combo was delicious!Service was prompt. PhlegmMaster,Thank you for your kind words! We are overjoyed to discover the positive impression we made with our breakfast combo . We also appreciate your feedback regarding the meatloaf as this will help us to continue to improve upon the guest experience. We look forward to serving you again!Thank you,Jose AlvaradoThe Northern PinesDirector of Sales & MarketingEmail: [email protected]

We heard this was a good place to eat. We called to see if we needed reservations and told them we were around 6 - 8 minutes out. The hostess said nope...no reservations needed. Well, when we got there within 10 mins time, it seems she didn't have anything except a large table in a back room. We said no, then the hostess kinda got a little snippety. Maybe well try it again and the staff will be a little friendlier. BeckCalifornia,Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the service you received from our staff at that time, which made you less pleasurable. It is our goal to impress you with our food, drinks and exceed your expectations with every visit, and it is disheartening to learn that we did not fulfill this ambition during your recent visit. I do hope you'll return and let us show you a far better experience.

Pizza dinner was overall really good. Most of the pizzas were liked although the toppings (sauce/cheese especially) were a little sparce. Outstanding ingredients were noted. Brussel sprout appetizer and bread were both excellent. Service was very good. Only thing keeping this rating from 5 stars was that the pizzas were below expectations...have had better brick oven pizzas elsewhere.

This is a charming place in an old building with communal outdoor seating. The pizza is artisan - delicious! - and the beer selection is interesting. This is not your average pizza-with-red-sauce-and-a-bunch-of-meat. If you're looking for that, you may be disappointed. Don't skip the house-made gelato - it's to die for! (My husband and I shared one salad, one pizza, and one gelato and were stuffed.)Service is outstanding; the servers really know their stuff.
