Every month (on Tuesday) we visit the Restaurant to have a lunch with bunch of friends. Usually we order pizzas (every Tuesday there is a special offer - all pizzas are 17.50 CHF) but some people go for pasta or meal of the day. None of us has ever been disappointed! Food is excellent, always fresh ingredients used, accompanied by good wine and beers. Service is very nice and quick. Do not worry if you do not speak French as they speak English so you will be able to place your order. During the sunny and warm days itâs better to book the table outside as once the inside gets fully crowded the air becomes quite tense. Having said that I strongly recommend this place if you are a real Italian food lover!EM

We visited this restaurant under suggestion of our Italian friends and found it very very good. The place is cozy although the location is not as prominent.The quality of food is superb: I had pizza with Prosciutto di Parma and mozzarella di bufala, while my wife had Pizza estiva. Really delicious and at the level of the best Neapolitan pizzas, which is not common for Neuchâtel!I also noticed other tables being served generous fish dishes and people commented enthusiastically about their plates.Service is friendly and very warm as you would expect from an Italian restaurant.Will come back again and check if also their fish dishes are as good as they look.

We stopped here while cycling through to Bern along the Tour de France route. It wasn't supposed to be open on the day we went through but one of the group phoned a few days ahead and let them know there would be about 40 of us so they opened and let us have the feed stop just outside.When I went through, it was right at the end of the group and the owner was still around. He was a really nice chap and very chatty (through my broken German).Ice cream was superb and brilliant quality unexpected in this part of Switzerland.I hope they expand their opening times so that more get the opportunity to taste it.

Selten haben wir uns in einem Restaurant so willkommen gefühlt! Nicht nur, dass sich die Bedienung - und der Patron - sich für uns Zeit genommen haben, auch alle anderen Gäste schienen einen tollen Abend zu geniessen.Die Auswahl auf der Karte ist etwas zu âvielfältigâ für meinen Geschmack (zu viele âSpezialisierungenâ), das Essen war aber sehr gut und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen.Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder in der Linde einkehren!

Its friday night, your family is hungry, you don't feel like cooking but you don't want fast food nor do you want to make your kids sit through a formal dinner.This is where great family restaurants like Antica Roma come in. There is something for everyone on the menu. Pizza and simple pasta dishes for the kids and more sophisticated dishes including great steaks and creative dishes based on freshly-made pasta for the grown-ups. The kitchen knows what they are doing and the service is warm and friendly. The dining room is large and open and there is a good mix of families and couples.If you don't like the faux roman murals there is a winter garden from where you can watch the pizza baker working the wood fired oven and in the summer time you can eat on their terrace.On a value for money level this place is very fair. What I like in particular is that you can both have a good and simple meal on a budget (kids-sized pizza & lasagna) but that you can also splurge on good wine, well prepared main dishes, nice deserts. We have been there many times and the only thing that I ever thought was not worth the money was a seasonal salad. All the other things were spot on.

On est toujours bien accueilli et jamais de mauvaise surprise. Nous y allons toujours confiant. De plus cette terrasse ombragée par de arbres est super agréable en cas de beau temps.

Abbiamo mangiato sia antipasti (abbondanti) che primi con pizza, ottimo cibo italiano quasi meglio che in Italia! Ci hanno portato a fine pasto del limoncino ottimo! Cordialità del proprietario, simpatia, gentilezza, come stare in Italia!!!

after long day travelling around we went to the nice city and found this Pizza restaurant, Pizza was really exceptional, great taste and exactly baked to optimumCan really recommend and will definetely come back next time

I booked the night before and when we arrived were shown to the terrace in the sunshine. The service was friendly and caring. We had bread with mushrooms in olive oil which was good. Then very fresh salads and followed with the Italian lemon chicken with spinach and saffron rice. The chicken was ten out of ten !A few problems seemed to be happening with another large table with slow service but my guess was the customers were too fussy !We will go again happily.
