It is good to have a buffet restaurant in Dunfermline. Good food choices, not too pricey, mainly during the week at lunch time. Dinner time is a bit better, but more expensive. It wasn't the first time I went and won't be the last.

The place itself is excessively cluttered with photos and various pieces of totally random decorative ornaments etc even small water features, the clutter only serves to give the impression of it not being particularly clean in my opinion. We ordered starters and mains and before they arrived we were given cheesy garlic bread and olives which would have been very welcome had it not been rather over done. The bruschetta was a very large starter but basically chopped tomatoes on garlic bread the tiny pieces of basil were dried not fresh , no parmigiana and no fresh pepper offered. The minestrone soup was again a large portion veg very chunky indeed but flavour wise disappointing, served with 2 large rolls with butter. Both mains were spaghetti with bacon onion wine and tomato sauce, the sauce seemed a rather odd colour (brownish rather than red from fresh tomatoes) flavour wise disappointing especially for an Italian restaurant. If you actually enjoy the food you certainly won't leave hungry as the portions are massive and prices unbelievably cheap. Unfortunately we won't be returning.

Drove past, stopped, looked at menu and decided to go in.We were served quick. The drinks arrived we ordered starters and mains to find our first choices werenât available. The bruschetta was closely resembling cheese on toast for mains we had Calzone which lacked taste and was dry. Oliver oil came to the rescue.Wonât go back. However some families were enjoying it...

Casa Mia (my home) was born from the desire to tell a beautiful, pleasant and LIVELY Italy. The intention is to comunicate the beauty of our country with style, design, culture and good food. Live all this with us !
A little family gathering on a bank holiday Monday evening was made special buy the team at Casa Mia in Dunfermline. The service and attention to detail was second to none. An impromptu cooking lesson from the chef was given to my youngest daughter who was taught the traditional way to make pizzas and she was delighted by the insights she gained. Please take your loved ones and give it a try I am positive you will not be disappointed in the quality and quantity of the fresh food served or the service given. 10 out 10 from me.

Visited the restaurant on a Monday night with family for a birthday meal. I have been on a number of occasions previously, but had forgotten how good the food was. I had the antipasto contadino for starter, followed by a seafood pizza, then cheese cake for dessert. Everything was amazing! Staff are always helpful and friendly and the restaurant is a cosy and relaxing place to sit and have a meal and a chat. Glad I picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday and look forward to my next visit. Thanks again.

While we were staying in Dunfermline we spotted this restaurant when driving through. We saw how good the reviews were so decided to give it a try.We were not disappointed on arrival the service was friendly and efficient. We ordered muscles in tomato sauce & chicken tempura as starters. Pasta Arrabiata & smoked haddock rissotto. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Piping hot, freshly cooked and smell & taste was so good.Throughout the meal the team were attentive and friendly checking if we needed anything. The restaurant was spotless and nicely furnished and could not fault it. We're only here for a few days but definitely considering going back.
