A small rustic restaurant/coffee shop with a lot going on: award-winning chef, delicatessen with quality Sicilian & homemade products, Joe Delucci ice cream & milkshake bar, top quality Italian barista coffee, eat in/take out, extensive menu & weekly spec

Visited last night very average meal. Ordered Steak Rossini. Steak very tender but sauce congealed on cold plates came with chips my fault should have asked for veg and potatoes which it usually comes with when ordered at other places. Chips tasted as if the oil needed changing very slow service despite it not been busy. Others were satisfied with meal but have had better. 10 per cent service charge added which is annoying when not really happy with the place

At Bella Italia, we find tradition and we treasure it. We're passionate about bringing you a true taste of Italy, so you can experience the love, food, and magic of this amazing country first-hand in our restaurants.
Iâm absolutely appalled by the level of service my partner and I received tonight in the Ashton-Under-Lyne branch of Bella Italia. We arrived at 8.45pm to be approached by Jack who informed us there would be a 15 minute wait for a table. We stated that would be fine and took a seat near the bar to wait. We were seated at our table within the 15 minutes, along with 2 other couples who were also waiting. My partner and I were the first out of all 3 couples to order, which was at 9pm. Our drinks arrived at 9.20pm, however at 9.40pm our food still hadn't arrived. At 9.50pm, I spoke to a lovely waitress who went to speak with Jack. We overheard that there was no order on the system for our food, which by this time we had already gathered this. The two other couples had received and eaten their food. Jack approached our table with what we thought would be an apology. We were wrong!! We were asked for our food order again, followed by him asking if we had a 2-4-1 discount code?! Shocked by this, we explained no and asked how long the food would be. Jack informed us he would give us the 2-4-1 deal as by way of an apology. Wow!!At 10.05pm our food finally arrived... well, part of it, we then asked for the rest of it. Getting extremely frustrated and disappointed now, I genuinely had no words to say to Jack. When he brought the remainder of our food, he informed us âmistakes happenâ. Yes, I agree mistakes happen, however the way mistakes are dealt with changes a persons experience. For Jack to then confirm he was the manager absolutely left me dumbfounded. His customer service was disgraceful, rude and arrogant. We were never asked if our food was okay, which is a good thing as it was cold, we were never asked if we required any further drinks, shame as we sat for 1hr with the same drink, well, empty glass....!!Save yourself the hassle and go next door!!

First visit with a friend. Nice decor, lovely appearance, car parking. Ordered Ted house wine all good, starters were calimari, crippsy, kind prawn chicken. Lovely tastes, mains was lamb, and this was just Devine. The best lamb dish I've had for a long time.you just have to try devine.is a word I never use. But this places deserves the alocade.

First time to Giovanni's and what a great experience. Went as a family on fathers day and was blown away with the food atmospheres and service. My Son recommended Giovanni's so I know it was going to be good!I can't recommend the food enough each one of us had a different meal and I wanted to try each others food but no one was sharing which means I have to go back regularly to go through all the Menu :)) Living in Staffordshire I can't visit as much as I would like but will defiantly go as often as I can. I have to say that Giovanni was on hand in the restaurant and that was good to see.All the staff were very pleasant and the service was great!Thank you Giovanni for making our evening very special for us all.

Visited on a Friday evening and it was very busy, glad I had phoned to reserve a table. The Early Bird menu was good value at £13.95 for two courses, with lots to choose from. You can upgrade to more expensive dishes with a supplement. Impressed that this offer is available until 8pm on a Friday. Food was served piping hot and portions were big. After two courses we didnât have room for dessert! Service was good too. Would definitely visit again.

Hi,I visited Sapori on the 22nd of December in a party on 18 people. The service was exceptional and the food was delightful. All 18 people really enjoyed there food with most of the group opting for the £12 set menu which was superb value for money.I opted for garlic lemon Prawns (Gamberetto) £6.90 to start followed by fillet steak with Diane sauce, chips and veg £18.50The steak was a large fillet which was great value cooked to perfection, the chips were really good and the Diane sauce was to die for.I have been to many restaurants and had fillet steak costing between £23 to £30 which was not as big but more importantly did not have the flavours served at Sapori. The table wine was at £14 for a litre which was great value.I enjoy a good glass of red wine but some table wine is not up to scratch but this was very palatable. The owner and his wife work tirelessly to make your evening a success. One negative was the bottles of Peroni beer were over priced but you are getting extremely good value with the food.We enjoyed it that much we went back between Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to going back! The fillets of steak are that thick if you do not like your food too pink I would suggest this at point of ordering or air on the side of caution and ask for it medium to well done!If you have not been before and you are looking for great food and great value you have got to give it a tryThanks for taking the time to feed back. Weâre really pleased you enjoyed your night. X

Visited mid-week for dinner with friends. There weren't many people in, and we were served quickly. The staff were attentive without being pushy. We all really enjoyed our food and will definitely return again. They had a very reasonable mid-week dinner special on, but we all chose to order off the main menu.
