After a busy week at work, you need a good place to start the weekend and Certo definitely is the place where you would want your drinks prior to dinner. Place is accessible from work and the staff is very welcoming and accommodating to requests. It gives off a feeling that the weekend is going to be a good one. The entire setup in the huge outside area of Flow Kitchen - which is bordering the beach - is nice, relaxed and a very inviting place to spend an enjoyable evening. We didn't try the various shisha tastes, but had pizza (very good), seafood grill platter (very good) and the grilled chicken breast (very tasty) with French fries. The service team was attentive at first, but after they had served the main course seemed to forget about us, not coming back to clean the table or asking us if we wanted something else. We spent likely more than 1h completely unbothered (positive spin) by anyone with our table cluttered by empty and dirty dishes the entire time. I brought this up to our waiter when I asked for the check and his reply was he didn't forget about us but it seemed we were engaged in deep conversation and he didn't want to disturb us... On a positive note: The hotel wifi covers the entire area, which was a very welcome surprise. Either way, the evening was nice and we enjoyed the experience at the Flow Kitchen. Prizes are steep, as is the case anywhere in Dubai, but not to the point where you feel ripped off. I ended up paying close to ⬠140 for two (no alcohol, no shisha, including tip), which given the location seemed acceptable. My wife and I dined at the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. It was nearly spoiled by a condescending and disrespectful waiter.After literally ignoring us from the time we sat down and him attending first to other non-Asian guests who came after us (meantime, not even making eye contact with us as he passed our table many times), I courteously called his attention that he hasnât (at the very least) given us a breadbasket and taken our drinks order. To which, he responded with attitude âYou want your bread NOW, Iâll bring them for you.â Thatâs when I complained to his supervisor who then apologized and assigned a different waiter for us.Otherwise, I would say that the ambiance in the restaurant is very good. I liked my sea bass but my wife didnât fancy her lobster spaghetti (she thinks a similar dish at the Armani Deli one floor below was much better). Overall, the evening was saved by the timely intervention of the other more senior and courteous waitstaff and supervisor.

We were slightly dubious visiting an Italian restaurant in Dubai, however, it was one of the best Italian meals we have ever hadRisotto and Pasta were both great - portion sizes were generous and certainly good value for money in DubaiStaff were all super friendly, including the restaurant manager who ensured that we could eat early before going to the airport for a flight home. Been here twice since arriving in Dubai last week. The staff is very courteous & well trained. ( Especially Stevie Wonder) The views of the place are breathtaking & the bar is very cool.For appetizers I recommend the Octopus. ( my fav) and for Entree I recommend the fresh Carbonara pasta.
