We talked with a friend who lives/works in Dorval while we were visiting Montreal. Cozy restaurant. Good food. Chicken piccata and veal Marsala were our choices and not disappointing. Some might think the portions a bit small, but with the current trend of getting more food than one can eat at most restaurants, this was a pleasant change. We ordered dessert to fill the void. Tiramisu! Worth it. Also had a pleasant glass of house red wine that paired well with the veal. Itâs not too far from the big city, and if you have time drove there along the river and not the highway. It is a pleasant drive and avoids the construction traffic on the main thoroughfare.

Nestled in the heart of the West Island; La Verita is an Italian fine dining experience that is bound to impact your senses. The focus is to ensure guests delight with the restaurant's modern Italian cuisine, while surrounded by a warm and trendy decor. A
This wa my third visit to this restaurant during the last 2 years. Great experience again: fresh and well prepared food, very attentive service, a bit pricey but worth it. We were a group of 8 people, we chose different items on the menu and everyone was satisfied. Personally, I had the lobster ravioli and it was excellent. Will certainly return.

We ordered 2 subs, a wrap and fries one night and then some pizzas and fries the night after last weekend. The subs were just great. They arrived hot and delivery guy was friendly. The next evening, we had some guests over and we order 2 all dressed pizzas and a couple of orders of family fries. Once again service was fast, curteous and food was still quite hot. This was our first time ordering from them and we will be ordering from them from now on.We highly recommend. This was

This restaurant has been in this location for decades. It's a must if you are in the Lachine area. Near the water (lac St-Louis), just a amazing setting. Currently some repairs in the area so I would wait a touch before I go. The food is good, and like most have written, the wood oven pizza is, I think, their signature dish, a must have. They have a terasse during the summer months. It's a busy place, at all hours of the day, but worth the detour. I would make a reservation if dinner is your thing. Enjoy.Hi there!Thank you for taking the time to give us a wonderful review. We could not have described ourselves better than you just did! We hope to see you again soon!

Paolo Gattuso in the MTL Express (used to be Best Western Airport Hotel/Dorval) is one fine Italian Restaurant. Used to serving travellers, weary or in a hurry, they serve up excellent pasta and entrées that are a blend of comfort food and fine dining. It was a treat to order Pasta Gigi (red peppers, mushrooms, capicola in a rosé sauce); comes al dente and steaming hot. Huge portion. Soup du jour was tomato/red pepper and perfect. Attentive service and full bar service, including a good selection of draught beer.

Celebrated my cousin's birthday on October 11th, last Friday. The place was packed. To me it's was a first good sign. Then food came and it exceeded my expectation. We are frequently going to NYC restaurants and a bit spoiled by good food and can compare. But here every dish was really tasty and we ended up ordering appetizers twice. T-Bone and filet mignon were delicious. My wife ordered grilled fish and it was done really good. One more good point - we could bring our wine. Do not miss this hidden jewel if you in Montreal. Just must make a reservation in advance. BTW, plenty of parking space.

We are happy to have found a new place to eat on the West Island. The waitstaff were all young, warm, professional, and helpful. It was a pleasure to see that as we are used to being ignored in most restaurants. The food was wonderful. My husband had a crab and avocado starter and a seafood pasta. These were on a table d'hote with coffee and dessert and all for a reasonable price. Both dishes were excellent and good-sized portions. I had the mushroom and carmelized onion starter....very tasty and also more than I needed. I had a wonderful veal dish with eggplant and raisins....lovely mix of flavors. There are many things we are eager to try on this menu. The wine list has reasonably priced bottles...also nice to see compared to some other restaurants. There were three tables that were celebrating birthdays and they brought each person a dessert with a candle, they played Happy Birthday on the sound system and the waiters greeted the birthday person. It was very nice! The setting is lovely...there is outdoor as well as indoor seating and the village area is quite lovely. Nice parks nearby. Dorval also has beautiful topiaries on display....wonderful giraffe mother and baby along the Lakeshore and a rabbit closer to Natalino's. The Dorval website provides more details.

Very traditional Italian in a non descript building near the airport. A surprisingly good experience. Busy, loud and active atmosphere Top notch service with dependable food servings. Quality was very good while not particularly inventive. Business dinner for 5 and everyone went home happy.

Ate with another couple. We had four different dishes and two soups. The soup was minestrone which was only fair. Minestrone should be thick and this was watery. For entres, we had two veal dishes, a chicken parm and shrimp in pasta. The shrimp were very big and plentiful. My friend found the pasta sauce too spicy. The Parma (I had the veal) were very good - plenty of cheese and good flavor. The veal might have been pounded a bit more but it was good. My other friend had veal with a white wine and mushroom sauce. It looked very good. They have a full bar and extensive wine list. We didnât try desert.
