La Piazza is a small restaurant You might walk past easily, situated in front of a church. It's not huge, so it is advised to make reservations. This is home made italian food at its best was the general opinion after our dinner there on a freezing January day. The restaurant serves pizza, pasta, and more elaborate dishes. None of us tried pizza, but we all liked what we had on our plate; including the desserts (tiramisu with speculoos). The house wine was more than ok, and we appreciated the gentle service, and a very reasonable bill. After our visit, we wondered why we hadn't discovered it earlier on!The restaurant is located in front of a church in the center of town, has a modern interior with an open kitchen. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, otherwise open for lunch 12-14, and dinner 18-22h.

Been there with friends for a birthday celebration. Wide variety of choices in the menu. Good italian food in a cosy atmosphere. Staff is friendly and correct. No luxury-resto but this is defenately a kitchen with respect for food on your plate and not too heavy in your wallet; price-quality balance is very fine. We had also nice desserts aside from de pastas; we'll be back. Also nice place in summer right at the boarders of the Schelde.Parkingspace available in front of the resto. Good place without any complexity.
De pizza's zijn zéér lekker en vers, een echte aanrader! Cocktails steeds mooi gepresenteerd.. Cocktail lazy red cheeks moet je zeker eens proberen!
Had a grande pizza here on 6th of February 2015 (evening). Didn't have to wait at all.Pizza was perfectly baked, toppings were all fresh and tasted amazing! Place was very clean too. However, very expensive! The pizza we took (Siena-> basic + mushrooms, ognion & peppers/paprika) was for 16 euros (for a grande, diameter 36cm), but since we wanted 2 extra toppings (pepperoni, olives) that costs 5 euro's extra.(so 2.5euro's per extra topping)So, in total, 21 euro's for the pizza including the 2 extra toppings. Compared to other pizza places in the area, that is very expensive. If it wasn't for the price, we would rate this 5 stars for sure.If you don't care about paying a little extra, this pizza place is very much recommanded!
