I've really tried hard each time we have been in this deli?, restaurant?, wine bar? to put it on our lists of nice places in Oconomowoc, but can't yet. Oconomowoc is a revitalized downtown now getting more competitive for our dining dollars. The owners/mgrs of this deli need to better focus on service, and not chit chating, wine tasting, flitting around, or just being ambivalent when customers step in, because it is a confusing environment. It doesn't feel friendly We think you order your food at the counter, but they always seem disinterested. The wine prices are pretty high by the glass and you have to order at the deli counter, I guess? This place fills a "short order" need in town but I will agree with other reviewers that the items in the deli cases are very limited, likely desserts they don't make. Not a lot of food that you can see. Then do you sit at a table, then get up to order? Wine this way seems strange. I think a huge improvement would be for them to actually wait on your table....this would make it all better. Or at least greet you and explain what to do. Wish I could comment on the food, but never have gotten to the point of ordering. Just bought sauces and noodles off the shelf to support this as a local stop. For food, Solbie's around the corner and The Irish Pub (fine dining) get our vote and dollars.

Came here for dinner. Our server was friendly but really only showed up to take our order and deliver our food. The place was winding down from the dinner rush so I expected more. The artichoke dip was fantastic and I love the lasagna. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and said I make a better one at home.

Doc's has proudly been serving the Lake Country area for 25+ years. We offer the freshest pizza available. Our dough is made fresh daily and we load your pizza with toppings. Our wait times may get lengthy (we're working as fast as possible), but we are v
There are times when one doesn't want to review a restaurant for fear that people will read one's review and flock to the place making it harder to find a seat. Thus is the story of Doc's. A very small place...a few tables...a bar...and the best darn pizza around. We were tipped off by a friend to try Doc's, saying he would pay for the trip if we didn't enjoy the food. A pretty safe tip. Our sausage , mushroom, and black olive 14" pizza was more than enough for two people (we took a third home). So delicious, it makes my mouth water just writing this review. And the beer was cold...served in a frosted glass. This is our new go to place for pizza. A little out of the way, but worth the trip. The unfortunate thing for us, is we just gave up our boat on Pewaukee Lake, otherwise their dock would have been very convenient for us. Well, driving there in the convertible will have to do.This is one of my top 3 favorite reviews of all time. Thank you very much. Next time you come in, please ask if Josh is around. Thanks again!!

You will enjoy a lovely environment, but extremely loud (because of all the hard surfaces) so conversation isn't always easy. Ordered the filet app - it comes with onion strings and fries. Fries were perfect... onion strings were wet/soggy with oil. Filet was ok. THIS dish would have been top marks without the fries, better onion strings served atop steamed veggies. Best of the night was the complimentary ciabatta bread/olive oil and roasted garlic. Hunan chicken was very flavorful but the pasta was too limp. Bruscetta app was just ok. Bread was damp... bruschetta falls off (creates a mess)... would have been better with a light crust of cheese to keep it together. We would be tempted to come back just for the cucumber mojito! Very tasty. Service was EXCEPTIONAL.

Rosati's Pizza provides the best handmade food, dine-in, carryout, delivery, and catering to the Oconomowoc, WI area.
Several friendly people were at the front entrance to greet us and we were seated right away. We decided also immediately after being seated we wanted to try the chicago style pizza, which we did after a VERY long wait. Our waitress, bless her heart, was working her butt off, but what were all the people by the door doing? We knew to expect a wait for the pizza, so that was NOT the issue. When the pizza came it looked great, but this missed on a lot of levels. (Not enough seasoning in the sauce, crust-meh, undercooked veggies) I will say that the regular/thin crust pizza looked better, but who knows, right? After dinner we waiting a painfully long time (20 minutes maybe) while our waitress was working her butt off before we got our check. The phone was constantly ringing loudly and I could see they were sending a ton of carry out pizzas out, but I still didn't quite understand why with so many staff our waitress was on so many tables.

I'm a regular customer who was discusted on my most recent visit. The A/C didn't seem to work and there were at least 15-20 flies in the dining area. The food is usually good, but apparently the management is not keeping up on the cleaning.

Marty's is a Family owned local business that has served Southern Wisconsin for almost 60 years. We combine real Wisconsin Cheese and fresh toppings to make us known as the home of the five foot pizza! Combine a great pizza with variety of local wine and
I've only ever had the pizza here--we go when we are in town visiting family. The pizza is pretty decent. The crust is thin and crispy, kind of cracker-like. They are generous with the toppings, and will let you split half and half so you can still order a large one even if you can't agree on what to get! It's nothing really special, but the pizza is consistently good, and I love that they don't have TV or music blaring in the background so you can actually have a conversation.

We were promptly greeted and shown to a great table by the window. Everyone was very friendly from the bartender to our waitress Gail. We found the bar pricing to be very competitive and enjoy a good tall drink before ordering. We both had the house salad, which came with our meals. Gail suggested we add some blue cheese along with their house Italian dressing. The salad was crisp and very tasty, however the addition of a small cup of blue cheese was $2.00 more per cup. I realize it was in addition to the included salad, I just wish we had known in advance of the upcharge. I had a chicken dish which was outstanding, however Gail suggested I add capers to the dish, which I agreed to do. I was surprised when we got the bill and I was charged $3.95 for a few tablespoons of capers. My wife ordered the lasagna, which we were told was one of their best dishes. It was served in a large bowl, swimming in sauce, almost as if they were hiding the pasta. The sauce we both thought was average at best, almost tasting like it came out of a jar. We did split a dessert, which they charged $10.00. Would I come back, yes for the chicken dish, but given our over all meal, I think there are much better restaurants in the area with better pricing. Our meal with 2 drinks, a chicken and lasagna and one dessert was over $100.00. I think that is expensive and for that kind of meal expect outstanding food and honest upfront pricing.

My girlfriend and myself chose Zin for a dinner out again. We both have really enjoyed this restaurant for years. Actually, it was our enjoyment of the restaurant as singles that brought us together on a dating site. We both love the menu, and their new menu, which started less than a week ago was no exception. We started with olive cakes, which i have never seen on any meny before. The flavor combinations were great. This was a very filling dish for a starter. We split the avocado chop salad with scallops added. This salad brings us back often due to it's fresh, light flavors and ingredient combination. The scallops were on point as usual and were great on this salad as an add on.We also shared the short ribs, which now include mushrooms and broccolini. They were super tender and flavorful. Add a couple glasses of good wine and it would be enough for a great review. However, it was our server Kris who made the meal perfect. She is very friendly, attentive and has a great attitude. Even when we asked multiple questions about a couple of the new items on the menu, she was eager to find out the answers. We will definitely be back. We can only hope to get Kris again next time. If you're in the area, and haven't tried Zin before, give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
