This is such a cool place to hang out. Live music. Great food. Excellent cocktails and cold beers. What could be better? That would be Ronnie behind the bar!!! He is Super attentive and always willing to give a suggestion when you are unsure of what to order (drink or food). Been here 1/2 dozen times and have always enjoyed myself. Definitely going back.

While in California, I was hankering for some Italian food...picked Stella's from a google search. I will give them 5 stars for service. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and our waiter was excellent. Ordered bruschetta, which tasted more like stale bread than toasted bread, a caprese salad (mozzarella was so-so) and shrimp scampi. And a margarita pizza that was also ok. The shrimp dish was very good. Shrimp were very large, crisp, clean and the scampi sauce was light. Would definitely recommend that. While we were not wowed, would give it another try just based on the service.

We took some friends to experience the latest addition to restaurants in Dana Point. Madison's owner & chef du cuisine Danielle has done a terrific job in opening this spot and providing a creative menu for all 3 meals. We had Coq au Vin & our friends had Osso Buco. We shared the Leek Pie & closed out with a chocolate tart. The wine was good & not too expensive. All around, this is a wonderful place for any meal & we've tried all 3.It's worth the effort to find this out of the way gem.

I reserved a table the day before, and arrived at Agostinoâs in early evening. The restaurant is on the Pacific Coast Highway so expect views if you are there before sunset. Unfortunately we werenât, and our table wasnât a particularly view worthy one anyways. We were barely acknowledged on entering, and though the restaurant was reasonably full, there was no wait. The decor is dated and worn, which is sad for such a beautiful location. There must have been ventilation problems because there were two large area fans sitting on a table in the middle of the dinning room pulling 62 degree air from outside through an open door. The fan was blowing on us, and we asked to have them turned off, but despite other dinners visibly shivering we had to unplug them ourselves. We got calamari which tasted and looked like it was fresh out of a box, not home made. The sauce had no spice. Bread was commercial loaf, and cold. Salad was lettuce with a single slice of tomato, no carrot shreds, cucumber or croutons. Agostino is really really trying to save money if a salad cant even get carrot shavings. The ravioli special was bland. It too seemed like food service quality, not home made. The food was a disappointment, so was the ambience. Agostino is trying too hard to cut corners and save money, instead of investing in food and an awesome experience. It will catch up with him if it hasnât already. Take your hard earned money elsewhere for an evening out on the town.

Small Italian restaurant located in a strip mall. They have good happy hour selections at the bar. There are only about a dozen seats tho and theyâre usually full. Prices are very reasonable. Food is delicious- spaghetti and meatballs, cioppino, linguine and clams are some of our favorites. Highly recommend.

This is a tough one. The food was really great- the service was seriously dreadful. I donât remember the last time my entree was served with the appetizers still in front of me - and not totally eaten! All the food was great and the meal would have been fabulous if the waiter paid just a little bit of attention to us. We were 2 people- a smaller tip than 4 people- and I havenât felt this insufficient since we ate at Hacks in Dana Point. 1st time here- may well be the last. We ordered coffee- mine came and 5 minutes later, my husbands came- not good enough. We eat well, and we tip well- our waiter made a big mistake thinking we are a 2 top and not worth the effort of a 4 top. If anyone from the restaurant is interested, I have the receipt and will happily send it to you. So it will be a long time until we go here again, and I will tell the truth to my friends,We sincerely apologize for the poor service the you received. The kind of service that particular waiter provided you does not reflects what Ciao Pasta is all about. We pride our self in providing great food and very friendly and professional service. A meeting will be call today with all the servers and buss boys to show your review and let them know that what happen to you is unacceptable. I want to thank you for taking your time and informing us of your unpleasant experience. Hoping that we will have the pleasure to have you at Ciao Pasta for another chance please accept my apologies. Best regards

Food is excellent. Throw back to my east coast roots back in NY. Owner and the staff are friendly & accommodating. 1) Awesome Eggplant Parm, 2) Chicken Parm, 3) Crazy good Pizza. The drinks never leave you wanting for the other half too show up. Full to the top. Very few do a free pour these days! What's not to like. Worth your time exploring the menu.

We've passed by this place 100 times in traveling up and down PCH, and it was recommended by a friend as a "Inimate dinning" spot, and it is. The acoustics are good to keep the ambient "People" sound at a lower level, and lighting is medimum, so it makes for a very nice relaxing dinning experience. The "Light" function on your smart phone may be helpful if you need your reading glasses. The parking is in a lot south of the restaruant, and it's not evident or easy to find the first time.
