What a wonderful afternoon spent with my wife. We ventured around Dalian taking care of regular errands when I mentioned to her I was interested in checking out this restaurant that a teacher recommended. Pretty awesome food with a real Italian chef who was willing to come out and ask how the food was.Get their special, the "Al Bacio" or their pizza. I cook a lot of my own noodles, my wife still loves the pasta here more though.

EuroBake in Kaifaqu Station, Dalian, across the square from the train station, is very popular with North Americans in China, especially when they get a little homesick for Canadian or American food as Eurobake has burgers and fries just like home. Also, Mr. Beer is next door and The Kings Bar is practically across the street, along with two dozen others in Five Colour City.

This little place sure is a surprise! Very good food and reasonably priced. Dishes actually taste Italian. Service is very good too.
Rather perhaps, during a shopping walk next to Shangrila Hotel, in "the Gallerias", who lost unfortunately shops, but gained fortunately a handful of nice restaurants and bars, I discovered in the 3rd floor that tiny, nice little italian restaurant. This because I was on the look for glutene free food, due to a bothering diagnose I got 6 month ago. First I tried the shrimps al balsamico and then the steak with fried potatoes, As desert an ice-cream, homemade and guarranteed glutene-free, all of them perfect. When I took my family there the next day, after they tried the offered food, they insisted to have dinner there every day. The restaurant serve meat from USA, Australia and Japan, the almost excellent italian cuisine is enriched by some chinese (birds nest) and japanese specialities. To round that up, they offer various good vines from Europe, South America, South Africa and Australia. I even discovered an excellent one from Austria. And all this for reasonable prices...Thumbs up!https://www.tripadvisor.at/ShowUserReviews-g297452-d15694142-r643294022-Soleil-Dalian_Liaoning.html#
