My parents live in Cumiana and for my birthday, this October, we decided to try this restaurant recently renewed and with a new management. The previois one was bad, but this.. This new management is AWESOME. I had pizza and that was great. My parents had a main course and even that, according to them, was great. Foreigners, if you ever step by here, come eating there. The service is very client-oriented, accomodating and eating here is worth of a shot! ;)

Siamo stati per un pranzo di lavoro. ?Giaâ lâ ingresso...poco invitante. Mi dispiace , il cibo saraâ come â fatto in casaâ, lette le precedenti recensioni. Ma menuâ privo di fantasia. Un piatto tris con wurstel e ceci... Gnocchetti sardi con olive verde a rondelle. Patate surgelate. Meglio un panino in Autogrill.

Ne ho sentito parlare bene da molte persone e anche la persona con me ne aveva un bel ricordo. Tuttavia siamo rimasti un po' perplessi. Il menù ci è sembrato interessante benché non ricchissimo di proposte (e questo può essere anche un bene perché significa che i piatti sono curati). Ci dicono che c'è il menù degustazione funghi e stavamo pensando di fare uno sgarro alla dieta...invece rettifica: i funghi fritti sono finiti. Ok, il destino ha deciso per il mio fegato. Prendiamo 2 antipasti: molto buono il mio (delle specie di crostini fatti con riso e guarniti con tre tipi cavolfiori. Deliziosi), scarso quello del mio compagno (battuta di carne con cipolle caramellate). Il primo è uguale per entrambi: risotto con crema di zucca e salsiccia. Boh, la zucca si sentiva molto poco e la salsiccia era "sbriciolata". Forse entrambi ci aspettavamo un piatto più rustico e soprattutto più abbondante (porzione da bimbo...). Il dolce l'ho preso solo io e l'ho comunque trovato buono: tarte tatin di mele con panna liquida. Magari abbiamo sbagliato serata, non so. Mi spiace...

My favourite in Giaveno!Friendly service and good atmosphere, but above all, good food.Whatever I have ordered, it is always good: great appetisers, pasta, pizza. Beautiful pizza oven.Nice dehors as well.Be sure to book in advance, there is a lot of place, but it can be crowded!

A friend repeated me so many times to try this restaurant and finally I did it.Outside appears like an hosteria but entered I realized to stay in an elegant, cozy and handsome restaurant.They welcomed with "prosecco" and a little refined appetizer.They gave us a cozy spot and driven us not in a lunch but in a nice food trip.They proposed seafood and meat menù or free choose one.We was five people and we took different types of dishes in order to taste all the proposal.Dishes were so studied and had armonious combination of flavors and, strange for this type of restaurant, was very generous.There was not a list but a "book" of wines, and we choosen for "nebbiolo", typical piemontese.Desserts were elegantly accompained with rum.Cordiality and elegance had to be payed!Absolutly recommended

The staff is kind and we paid 30 euro for a big quantity of starters.. tuna was quiet good.. mushel. .. and few others and finally we got a big mixed grill of fish and and a big mix of fried fish.. good quality and to much.. even. Just missing atmosphere and a special one to desire to come back. Sorry may be my judgment is to tight but we went out without a real remembering of the evening.. any way if you wish to have good and a lot of fish you can go. We recommend.

Great music from internet radio station "cover lounge" accompanies you through 5 gourmet courses and that does not even include desert. There is no menu as such, the chef just brings out one plate after another of dishes which he then personally explains one by one until you are salivating. My only regret was that I was the only guest that night so the food had my full attention.

we stayed at the camping verna & freidour resturant during a charity monte carlo rally with 80 other competitors the hospitality and warmth we recieved from the owners and staff was amazing!! being in the hospitality industry myself i couldnt believe what these guys did. They fed 80 of us down stairs with a stunning buffet of italian starters and then the best lasagne i have ever tasted while upstairs in their world renowned resturant they catered for a full room of local customers!! it felt like we where in ther own dining ,helping and accomodating each of us well past midnight a place i will never forget and cant wait to return and not forgetting the lovely campsite with stunning scenery! thank you and well done!!!
