An all-Italian family- all young and enthusiastic- has created a wonderful culinary experience. Donât be fooled by the almost concealed entrance: there is plenty of room in the stylish and modern decor. Wine list is limited but good and the food is largely organic with homemade pasta and desserts/cookies ... and the pasta and fish dishes are perfection.

Our shared first course of antipasto was served on bread that was inedible although the toppings were good .Our entrees were delicous .Service was very slow and our waitress told us that the kitchen had forgotten our starter .Not very professional .The manager did not charge us for the starter but by that time we were ready to leave .Unfortunately the evening was spoilt as a consequence .Also found it strange that non alcoholic beer was not served .Dear guest,Thanks for your feed-back.We are sorry to read that your last visit did not really meet your expectations.I remember reading a wonderful review from you only a couple of months ago, so I am disappointed that this time did not go so well. This is definitely not in line with our standards and we can only apologize for what went wrong. On the positive side, I am happy you enjoyed our entrees and that you found them so delicious.Hope you will give us another chance: we will take extra care of your table next time!Warm regards,Daniela

The only thing better than the excellent service was the food. We have experienced this restaurant several times and will to do so. The first Saturday of the month, brings about a wonderful walk through the area and what better way to end this than to have a perfect meal. On most occasions the chef even comes by to say hello.

While driving through Bradenton on a stormy summer afternoon I spotted this restaurant with an overly busy parking lot for 2:30 in the afternoon. Feeling hungry I stopped in for a late lunch. This place is everything about Chicago from the Deep Dish Pizza, Hot Dogs and Italian Roast Beef. I didnât know where to start when I first glanced at the menu! Not having an authentic Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza In forever I decided on the pizza. It took about 20 minutes which they advise in advance. The service was excellent, prices reasonable and the pizza fantastic. I wouldnât hesitate in returning.

Family restaurant ,
I have never been charged so much for such terrible food. Oh and terrible service.Absolutely awful restaurant. Give it a swerve, there are so many better places to eat locally. I could go into more detail, but this is all you need to make your decision not to go there.

We visited this small Italian restaurant for dinner, i had passed it many times (previously as a Cuban place) and decided to try a family run place for a change. The lady owner (Maria I think) could not have been more friendly and welcoming she did everything to help us enjoy our meal. The food was home cooked and authentic Italian style cuisine and tasted very good indeed. We all had a different dish and all enjoyed what we had, freshly cooked and prepared. It's a small place, I think it only holds about 20 covers but has a lovely atmosphere. I wish them well and hope the place prospers.

We are a family owned authentic Italian restaurant. Pizza, pasta, kids meals - something for everyone!
Bella Mia is our favorite Italian restaurant in the Bradenton area. It's like walking into another world. The friendly servers greet you, you can choose your own table and the daily lunch specials are always interesting. A BLT pizza? It was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The lettuce and creamy salad dressing added after baking made it perfect. The minestrone is chock full of veggies. Add a half a sandwich and it makes a great meal. In this case, it was half a meatball sandwich. The bruschetta is actually a meal in itself or an appetizer to share. Loads of fresh tomatoes top delicious Italian bread. Sublime! At the moment Bella Mia has "Meatball Monday". Did I get you interested?

Lunch specials looked good. Thin crust pizza was good. Chicken parmigiana was good but too much to eat. Service was extremely slow. We would have had many more beers but the service never came by. Getting the check took long too. Server would have received a better tip if service was better

Hubby and I winter on Longboat Key, and decided to have dinner at The Bayou with two other couples. We arrived on time for a 7:30 reservation and the restaurant was very busy-to be expected since it is 'Season' here. It took a little while for our waiter to appear to take our order, but it is hard to blame him, since the restaurant and bar were full. Our cocktails were made to order; CC Manhattan on the rocks for me and J and B Scotch with a splash and a twist for hubby. Cocktails were great! For dinner I ordered the fish specialty of evening, which was a South American fish-can't recall name, since it wasn't listed on menu. It was absolutely delicious-panfried with butter and lemon and capers-one of my favorite presentations for fin fish. It was served with vegetables. All of the men raved about their veal dishes-each had a different one. My husband had the veal marsala, another in our group the veal parmesan, and there was a third variety too. All delicious. The two other women ordered eggplant parmesan and baked veal cannelloni- both of these arrived smothered in melted cheese and looked delicious. Garlic bread was tasty, and my Cappuccino was the perfect finale to my meal. Prices here are reasonable, with most of our entrees costing $19.95. We have other friends who come here for the early bird specials, so you may want to check that out. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during 'Season', especially on a Friday or Saturday night! We will return!

We needed to feed a large group with adults and children. We checked Trip Advisor close to us in Bradenton since we were not familiar with a lot of the pizza joints in Bradenton! Danny's fills the bill! Unreal! We got 3 large pizza's and picked them up since it was right down the street~! And I mean they are LARGE.....and great NY Pizza! Best I have had other than my NY Pizza Joint in VA. We fed an army and everyone was loving it! I had a greek salad a few weeks ago.....Again Fabulous! Portions are so large and so tasty! We definitely will be back!
