Food ok but nothing exceptional. Service was lacking and there were times the service staff obviously didnât communicate with each other as things either never came to the table (drinks requested) or came out wrong. Pizza base was stodgy and chewy rather than crisp. Some of the starters were lovely, including the specials, mains were lacking though.

I avoid ready meals at all costs but these meals are absolutely delicious! A real treat and homely cooked food with beautiful fresh ingredients which can be cooked from frozen. The portion was perfect, filling and crammed with big chunks of tender beef, shallots, carrots in a silky, tasty sauce! I will be back for more. Well done and Thank You!What a great start to our weeks cooking to read your lovely comments! Thanks so much for taking the time to let us know. Weâre extremely passionate about our food and cooking and weâve spent a lot of time recently on perfecting our Bouef Bourguignon - especially the sauce! Hope youâll try some of our other dishes too.

Under new management with a new name since the staffing,, ahem,, issue with the last owners. No change of decor, which is good, as I like it and must have cost a few quid to put in in the first place. The menu has changed though - much reduced in choice and not wholly Italian as I expected from the restaurant name.We hadn't booked and only really ate out because we couldn't be bothered to cook - no problem with seating us as we were in early Friday evening. Drinks were with us promptly, had a nice chat with the waiter and two generous bowls of pasta were with us pretty quickly. Good food, good service, average prices. We will return and try something other than pasta. Thank you.Thank you very much for visiting usOur Restaurant is Mediterraneo ,Greek Italian and spanish. As a family restaurant we try our bestYou are always welcome

What a fabulous place this is. We had a booking at 9:15 and arrived to an already packed restuarant that people did not want to leave. We waited until our table was free and it was worth the wait, especially with some complimentary drinks and nibbles. We were not forced to hurry and the 11 of us thoroughly enjoyed the starters and mains. The staff were excellent and even went out of their way to do 2 trips to take us back to the Hotel. What a marvelous touch. I cannot praise this place highly enough and certainly will be back again. All food 10/10 Staff 10/10. Hello Darren,Thank you for choosing our restaurant, and for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us on Saturday night. Our restaurant aims to provide a truly unique experience, and we are thrilled that we were able to exceed your expectations. We look forward to welcoming you back at San Marco in the future. And it wasn't quick, it wasn't cheap and frankly we didn't bother leaving a tip..... Food was deep fried from McCaans, service was with a smile rather than any interaction and the mains no better than Morrisons take home take aways. Really dissatisfied and dissapointed...... Save the money and get take away....

Finding no where to eat after 2.00pm Mother and Wild said they would be serving food at 5.O0. The young lady at reception was so very helpful and the restaurant looked interesting we decided to have a very late/ early lunch/dinner. So glad we did. All the staff were very pleasant, the restaurant had several eating areas, mainly filled with younger people. I rarely eat pizza but this time it was impossible not to it, it looked so inviting. A ham hock starter for my husband and a pork and fennel ragu for me were excellent. The pizza was for my husband but I just had to share, the best I have had ever, outside Florence! Thank you
