This is a small old fashioned family owned Italian restaurant. They have nightly specials that are not on the menu -tripe, chicken cacciatore, roasted chicken - that you will not find anywhere else. The wedding soup is very good and the stuffed rigatoni also very good.I often get the tripe because no one makes this anymore because it's too much work. Go here and enjoy - you won't be disappointed.

Buca di Beppo Italian Restaurant

My group of 8 (me, my husband, my mother in law, my 3 kids, my son's girlfriend, and my daughter's boyfriend) had reservations for 5 o'clock. When I made the reservation for 5 o'clock, I explained that we needed to get my daughter to the airport for 7:30. I was told it wouldn't be a problem. We all arrived a little before 5 and checked in. I was told they were running behind and we would be seated in 15 to 20 minutes. I said that was fine but that we needed to get my daughter to the airport for 7:30. At 5:30 I approached the podium and asked how much longer as we were now 30 minutes past our reservation time and that we really needed to get this going. I was told sorry we overbooked. Like that's an excuse. 10 minutes later they finally called for our table. As soon as our server came over we explained that we were under time constraints and we ordered drinks, salad's, garlic bread, and appetizers immediately. Our waters and an iced tea were brought quickly. Our alcoholic drinks were brought shortly after that. We ordered our entrees and side dishes at that time. At 6:30 I had to go to the bar to try and find our server as ZERO food had arrived to our table. At this point we are 1 and 1/2 half hours past our reservation time and no food. We are nearly an hour past being seated and ZERO food. At the bar our server wandered by and saw me and said she was just coming to talk to us. Yeah sure. And talk to us about what?? She then told me that our food was going to start coming all at once. I went and sat down and ONE of our salads showed up. The second salad was never brought to us but it was on our bill when we were done. Maybe 10 minutes later more and more food is brought to us. We were not given plates. We were trying to fit the food on the little appetizer plates. We were not given plates until my husband got up and went looking for plates. So now we have bowls and bowls of entrees, appetizers, garlic bread, salad, etc all over the table. Our server disappeared for long periods of time. My daughter needed a napkin and had to get one from a stack of them on the dirty table behind us. At 7 my husband had to leave to take my daughter to the airport. They barely got to eat anything before having to leave. My husband told me to check the bill if they brought it before he got back because we never got our meatball appetizer either. So we are stuck sitting there waiting for my husband to get my daughter to meet up with her tour group. We decide to order dessert because he texted and said he would probably be an hour before he got back. So we finished eating, packed up the mountains of food ourselves, and ordered dessert. It now took 40 minutes to get two slices of cake and a sundae. My husband came back and was disappointed we didn't save him dessert. We laughed and told him it never even came yet. Anyway dessert came and we got the check. Our server told us that they took our appetizer trio off the bill. He told her that we were also charged for a salad and meatball we never got. He also told her that the entire experience was not good in the least. She took the bill again and took those items off and we did get 20 more bucks off the bill. Our bill was still nearly $400. I can say we actually had a pretty good time. It was good comedy if nothing else. I am very unhappy with not being able to see my daughter off at the airport for her overseas college trip. Mistakes happen but we never got more than "yeah we overbooked and are really busy". So if you eat here do not expect them to honor your reservation. I read another recent review that said the same thing. We ate here once before and it was really good and a fun experience. They blew it for Mother's day.ladybugpug, we're so very sorry to hear about your dining experience on your recent visit. We had a good experience at Bravo. Parking was near the front door, we were seated immediately, and our server was attentive. The restaurant was not crowded so it was quiet except for the background music. Our soup was hot and flavorful. The lunch features looked appetizing and we tried and enjoyed them. We liked the smaller size and the taste. We used a coupon that we had and were able to save $10 on our lunch.

This is a great local middle-class restaurant. The food is good, the portions large and the staff friendly. The only draw-back are TOO MANY TV's. It would be nice to have a section of the restaurant for adults who want to eat dinner and talk minus the TV's and the kids!

This is a solid restaurant in a very cute town. I wish I had time to explore the Main Street. Loved the atmosphere and the food was solid. The pizzas were a hit at our table and the pasta portions are huge. I recommend the meatballs and pepperoni roll! Wish they had a sausage option for the penne with vodka sauce which would have paired a lot better than the chicken. They don’t serve alcohol but their is a wine shop next door.

After 6 the place fills up with groups of folks enjoying good Italian cooking. Very nice wine by the bottle selection, enjoyed great Chianti. Had bread with butter and garlic, nice crab stuffed mushrooms, side salad. Then to main course of penne with nice tomato sauce with onions, bacon and garlic and meatballs. Server was Lisa with great suggestions and always there at the right time.

The table setup was perfect and the appetizers were great, atmosphere was warming and there was plenty of room. the food was fantastic and even though they don't serve alcoholic beverages the overall experience was well worth. The staff was very accomodating from beginning to end. Great experience and worth it.
