This is a quaint little Italian restaurant off the beaten track. It has great service, and good food. The decor is a little dated, but it is clean. The stuffed portobello mushrooms were good - large portions, stuffed with italian sausage. I had the Langostino Diavola, which was pretty good too. The dinner entrees come with salad and a warm loaf of bread. The salad was not the usual antipasti style - aged basalmic vinagrette, dried cherries, almonds, and lettuce.

In town for business. My client insisted we eat dinner here. They ordered a pepperoni mushroom sausage pizza and leave it in the oven for a few minutes extra. Well thatâs what I like. It was amazing. Wasnât floppy, cheese to protein ratio perfect. Also ordered a side of meatballs. If this joint was in New York City theyâd be on TV.

My family stopped in to Franco's while traveling to buffalo from southeast ohio. Just a short distance from the highway, we found this to be a friendly place adorned with turkeys, grouse and a variety of fish caught by the owner who took special interest in showing the off to our 8 year old son. Nothing fancy, but good quality food without a high price-tag and welcoming atmosphere. Crispy thin crust pizza came out of the big pizza oven pipping hot. The sauce was not too salty and the pizza was loaded with cheese. Nice place!
