The historical authenticity of the Busti Family and the experience of the Chef Leonardo Biasci join together in the shared love for good plain things. A restaurant that is really new, not only because it has been recently opened, but also because it origi
We spent a nice evening here with our family. The cheese and meat antipasti was very delicate presented and tasted great. The pasta and the bread were delicious. The kids had proper pizza made in the brick oven. Wine tips from the waiter were also very good. A little strange that this restaurant - which filled up with people over the evening- showed music videos from the 80's on a big screen. But don't let that stop you from going. High quality food- nice staff and very family friendly Thank you for your comment. Iâm sorry for the tv program, usually we show the Remo Busty documentary (the founder of Caseificio Busti) or a video of the dairy during the production.Thank you,

sat with two friends in an October evening.Warm welcome from the family of restaurateurs.Environment skillfully taken care of the smallest detail. As soon as we settled down we were offered an amuse bouche of "Hot Schiacciata Tuscany " (hot bread), ham cut with a knife at the same table etc etc.We have gone to "una fiorentina" (steak) scottona (fat cow spinster) nearly 6 lbs on which the landlord, a funny guy of 250 pounds, has a spectacular grated white truffle.Red Wine Bolgheri and for dessert " cantucci" (biscuits) with sweet wine. All great, everything spectacularsmall gift of appreciated packet of pasta traditional hand made.We invite you all to go and return.

Although only open on a Saturday and Sunday it is well worth a visit. I have been coming to toscana over the last 10 years. This is by far the best Italian food we have ever eaten...and we have eaten in some lovely places. 10 out of 10!!!!!

We're staying in Fauglia and heard good things about this place. They're all true! The pizzas were delicious. Served with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. Terrific small town ambience sitting outside in the town square. Very reasonable too.

We came here due to the good rating on Tripadvisor and were really happy. We had no reservation so the owner apologized we only could get a table inside. Which was completely fine as we were really close to the gigantic pizza oven and the grill. So we could observe the chef putting large chunks of meat on the fire. Great! As for the food, three of us had pizza and only me had the meat, which was great. With the pizza I immediately noted how good the mozzarella tasted. My son now says it's the best pizza he has ever tasted. Don't be fooled by the look from outside. The place looks like a cheap bar, but it's like with a book, don't judge it by its cover. Really recommended.

Located inside the small town of vicarello (close to Firenze Livorno freeway), it is not easy to find it. When you have found it, enjoy how good his dishes are!Suggestion: raw fish with fresh fruit, sea carbonara, and above all the unforgettable "catalana", with raw vegetables and fresh fruit (papaya, blackberry, raspberry...) accompaining shrimps and scampi.Service careful and kind, really a place to be back!

This little restaurant was just a few hundred yards from where we were staying and came highly recommended by our hostess and she was spot on.We called in to book earlier in the day which was interesting as the lady there spoke as much English as I speak Italian so I made the booking in French but it all went smoothly and when we turned up at eight we were quickly seated and treated to a glass of Prosecco. The service throughout was excellent and so was the food. The four of us shared antipasti to start and then I tucked into rabbit fillet stuffed with truffles which was so tasty. The beef stewed in Chianti was also very good as was the fillet of beef with truffles and a lovely bottle of red went very nicely with it.There was Moscato with the desserts which were again very good and an enjoyable grappa to round things off. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with barrelled ceilings and the atmosphere was relaxed and warm - all the others there appeared to be Italian which seems to be borne out by the other reviews. It was also good value, about £100/125 euros for the four of us.

We accidentally got here, as we were driving on FiPiLi when hunger hit. I literally googled to find out a good restaurant around and found this. When seeing how many excellent reviews it had, we instantly decided to stop by. And we weren't let down. On the contrary!...First thing first, the home made bread: three types each one of them incredibly tasty. Then, they brought to us some antipasto on the house, something like a cold carrort/sweet potatoes soup. Marvelous! Then, we started ordering: pasta, grilled, dessert. Everything absoluteky perfect! The most excuisite tiramisu ever! The service, as well top noch! So friendly and nice, l even got to meet the chef and l congratulated her for the amazing food experience. And another important aspect: they accept credit/debit cards - to us, just coming back from Corsica, this was a nice surprise...All in all, an unforgettable food experience, which l would totally recommend to anyone!Buon appetito! Grazie.VdG
