We were 8 people and arrived early. Even though there was nobody (we were literally the only ones), we were told it was a "huge inconvenience" to have such a big table. We asked if we could split our group into 2 groups of 4 because of the good reviews. Again, it was a huge inconvenience. They seated us at 2 tables furthest apart. We left because they were so rude. Thank you for your message (and for the same one on Google, don't worry we get it). Our small restaurant of 24 seats was fully booked last friday evening, but at 7.00pm when you arrived nobody was in the place yet, you are right. I told you so but I think you didn't trusted me. You INSISTED to be seated even separated in 2 groups of 4. I proposed you 2 tables (the 2 ones coming the latest so you could stay the longest), you seated and after that I explained the full menu in english you decided to leave, explaining you didn't like our menu. Who is rude ? Who is arrogant ? I am sorry you didn't understood....

Came here for dinner based off the TA reviews as we were looking for something close to our hotel - what a find it was fabulous!!Our waitress was super friendly and helpful and spoke great English which was helpful.We had the camembert cheese with truffles and fresh crunchy bread as a shared entree - YUMM!!!!This entree was quite filling so we decided to share the ragu tagliatelle again delicious and the perfect size.They had a good selection of beers and wines also and overall it was really reasonably priced.I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to returning on my next stopover in Paris.Thank you !!! Finding vegetarian options in Montmartre was proving difficult but then we noticed this small restaurant which was very busy and bustling...a sure sign the food is good. And it was good. Bruschetta to start with, then ravioli. Both delicious. House red wine was perfectly acceptable. The tables are VERY close together and itâs noisy with conversation so not the place for a quiet tete a tete. It does encourage you to talk to the neighbours though !

The restaurant seating is pretty limited but the seats are comfortable and spaced appropriately, the place is spotless (seating area, cooking area and bathrooms), the staff is super friendly and explains meals in English without any hint of attitude (sometimes encountered in other Parisian eateries), and the food is "home made" and delicious. I am so thankful for TripAdvisor and an opportunity to post and read travel reviews. My husband and I did extensive research before going to Paris trying to make sure we picked the best restaurants that were also affordable. Our expectations were met and exceeded by Bar Italia! We all tried a different entree and tasted everything. All six of us agreed that each dish was exceptional and we would have been happy eating any of them. Dessert was just the same and the owner even gave us his Tiramisu as a gift. The service was exceptional! I know all 3 couples in our group would come back to this restaurant in a heartbeat! We all stand by it being our favorite restaurant of the trip!

What a great Pizza. Everyone claims Paris has some of the best food in the world. Thatâs a bunch of garbage. This place is a shinning star in a city that has a bunch of pretentious and gross restaurants. I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service at Jimmy 2s. Such a good dining experience.

unique cosy warm clean inviting and friendly staff . good value for money compared to most restaurant's in the area.I chose a lovely pasta dish with basil and tomato and my partner chose four cheese Pinsa. both dishes very tasty ,well presented and very filling. good menu choice. being restaurateurs ourselves, of an Italian restaurant, we appreciate the effort that goes into freshly prepared home made food . we would defiantly go back when in the area.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived at this neighborhood restaurant. There were many empty tables that quickly filled while we ate here. We shared a starter of Buffalo Mozzarella, rocket lettuce and prosciutto, which was a generous portion and plenty to share for two for a starter. We had ravioli in a rich mushroom sauce that melted in our mouth, and Linguine alla Vongole (butter lemon sauce with clams). I counted 18 small and tender clams in the shell, with a generous portion of al dente linguine. We were so full we had no room left for dessert, but the desserts we saw go past looked delicious. Our reservation through The Fork said we would get a 20% discount on orders from the ala cartel menu, and when I brought that to the attention of our hostess, she quickly and apologetically made the correction to our bill. The total cost including two glasses of wine was â¬66, less the 20%.
