Reviews on Italian food in Chur, Swiss Alps, Switzerland. Chur or Coire (German: [ˈkuːr] or [ˈxuːr]; Romansh: Cuira [ˈkwerɐ] or [ˈkwoi̯rɐ]; Italian: Coira [ˈkɔi̯ɾa]; French: Coire [ˈkwaʁ]) is the capital and largest town of the Swiss canton of Grisons and lies in the Grisonian Rhine Valley, where the Rhine turns towards the north, in the northern part of the canton. The city, which is located on the right bank of the Rhine, is reputedly the oldest town of Switzerland.

The starters were all good, the pizza margherita used tasteful cheese and lasagne was great, although the meat sauce was a little bit too salty for my taste.
We came here with our friends plus 4 children. So a total of 9 people. We ordered pizza, salad and enjoyed a delicious wine (Primitivo) from Puglia. The pizzas have been delicious, the panna cotta was a dream but the best of it all was the attention, friendliness and speed of the waiters. We will come back!

acceptable italian restaurant. their pizzas are good and give good value for money. a large one is more than enough for two persons, and a small pizza is a bit excessive for one person.their pasta is ok.their service is always too busy and could improve.standard value for money for a swiss city suburbs standards.their carpark becomes small on week-ends.

We arrived here late one evening and were made to feel very welcome. We wanted to try local food and were recommended to try Capuns, we couldn't quite understand what it was but ordered anyway and we were so glad that we did as it was delicious. We also had another local dish plus a lasagne and all were really tasty. Even though we arrived late in the evening we were not rushed and allowed to enjoy our food in peace, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner here an evening in July 2017. The outdoor area was pretty full, but we had a table by the passage, not the best place, but OK. Service was efficient, but not very friendly. The score of this place is definitely the food. Very, very nice pasta dishes! But expensive, as typical for Switzerland. Web-site announced that the place is closing at 18.30 in the evening, but that was fortunately not correct!

We were 2 couples looking for a nice Italian and came across La Vita as we walked from our Hotel around the corner. The pizzas were excellent , tasty , thin base "just like mama used to make".The staff were extremely pleasant and friendly. Our waitress- Seraina - was very nice and very helpful, she suggested a very nice local wine which was great. Thanks

A last minute choice for supper was a fantastic find. The gluten free pizza made with light crispy crust, fresh toppings and the packaged gluten free cookies a wonderful treat we enjoyed throughout our trek around Switzerland. We enjoyed the visit with the owner and have found when the owner of an establishment is on site, we are going to have a delightful experience and that was true here as well.
