Friendly atmosphere with a dozen or so small tables for eating in. The usual posted menu for ordering at the counter and staff brings the prepared food to the tables. Seems like a good place to order carry out. Small ice cream counter, larger wall refrigerators with prepared food to grab and go, and some shelves with a variety of gourmet food items. Soups, salads, sandwiches and pasta are available with the option of ordering smaller portions for combination orders. Our pasta order was HUGE (a bit overwhelming) with a tasty marinara gravy, sandwich was less impressive.Staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner here. They have a back room that we had to ourselves for most of the time. The wait staff was a bit slow but eh food made up for it. The lasagna was out of this world and a huge portion.

This establishment has the worst customer service. They truly do not value their long time loyal customers. I have given this establishment my business for the past 20 years. I spend $50.00 dollars to $76.00 every time I visit which is every week to every two weeks. On this particular visit I ordered wings. Hot wings come with ranch correct? They wanted to charge me an additional 77 cents for ranch sauce for the wings. As a courtesy for a 76.00 bill you would think they would not be so petty over a ranch sauce. The manager refused to give me a ranch sauce. I will never give my business to arranello's again. They place no value on their loyal customers. The manager, I think his name was Kevin, should learn customer service skills, before becoming a manager. He was very rude.
Nice quaint restaurant/bar tucked away in a residential neighborhood. Great atmosphere--and phenomenal food. I've tried several different things and haven't been disappointed with any of them! Sherry, the owner, is super friendly and cares very much about her customers. Highly recommend!
I have been here several times, the pizza is really good, but their cheese sticks are just Amazing!! Batter dipped by hand. They look like fried fish they are huge, not those perfectly shaped, obviously frozen ones you get everywhere else. These are fresh handmade not frozen!! And the onion rings are great as well, batter dipped by hand as well. If you think you like cheese sticks, you have to try them here, just the best most amazing cheese sticks you will ever try.
Fasos makes one of the best thin crust pizzas in the south suburbs. Maybe even the entire chicagoland area. I began enjoying Fasos in 1973 and it's still as good now as it was then.I currently live out of state in an area where pizza does not get the attention that a pizza should. I have learned to do more than just love good pizza. I appreciate really good pizza..Pizza is truly an art form and the people at Fasos are Picassos. I make it a point to include dinner from Fasos each time I return to the area. Unfortuntely, they are carry out / delivery only. Be aware too, they are cash only. GREAT PIZZA!!!

By mid-week I need a break, so my girl friend and I decided this was the place to settle upon. The bruschetta and olive samples pair perfectly with the complimentary bread. Tuesdays bogo wine specials lure us there, as we peruse the menu and the food specials. Consistently great food makes chosing something new difficult. Chicken vesuvio (one of several chicken preparations), linguini with white clam sauce (fresh pasta abounds), anything shrimp, gizzards (new to me and drop-dead delicious), cod over greens are all recommended. Wendy the bartender is truly special and adds much to the home away from home atmosphere. My only issue is having to eat very early if I want MY special booth in the bar.

I had heard that they have the best pizza around although the area is kind of Rural and desolate, so I decided to purchase some for my employees representing Healthcare Services Group out of Bria of Woodside in Chicago Heights, pretty good indeed.

A pleasant invitation from my nieces to join them at Carlo;s. Has been one of my favorite restaurant s for decades. We have the bleu cheese dip with garlic toast and cocktails. Our waitress Diane is beyond excellent. She has everything covered. Party of four ordered stuffed shrimp, prime rib, fried shrimp and veal marsala. I haven't had veal marsala in years and this was spot on the best I have ever had. They serve an outstanding twice bake with everything prepared above and beyond a gourmet restaurant. What a wonderful evening with the family and superb food to go along. 4 1/2 star for here..

On a recent trip "back home" we had to make a stop where pizza is "heaven"! For over 30 years we have enjoyed the sausage and mushroom pizza at Aurelioâs in Homewood...thereâs nothing else like it. The sauce , the cheese, the atmosphere it all adds up to excellence. More than a dozen years ago we moved to Memphis where they donât know "pizza". Memphis is BBQ, not pizza. We even brought Aurelioâs back to Memphis with us!Whether itâs just you or a group you canât go wrong with the hospitality or the pizza at this iconic location.
