Recommended by my children and was definitely worth it. Fried pickles for appetizer (Love these things). Pizza was the selection for the group. Very tasty, give a 8 on the pizza scale. Waiter was helpful in explaining choices for my elderly Mother.

Pestos has been a local standard for many years now.....a benchmark that other area restaurants should want to measure and compare themselves to! You just need to take notice of how busy they are virtually every single night to know that this place does everything right.....well not just right....to perfection. The service is top notch....professional, friendly and extremely efficient. When we dined here last night our attendant said she was still in training and being mentored by another person. That other person's guidance seemed a little overbearing at times but hopefully her intentions were on point....suffice it to say that our attendant was simply excellent in all respects. This is always a busy restaurant so the noise is a bit elevated so perhaps not where you want to go for a quiet romantic atmosphere but that aside the ambiance is nice. The menu at Pestos is one of their big draws....it is loaded with a great many options from all the relevant corners. We had not been here for awhile so I was a bit disappointed to see that some of my favorites had apparently been removed from the menu. But my inquiry was met with a ready willingness to provide me with the "Chicken Piccata" that I craved. It was simply fabulous!! I now pray that they return the manicotti and cannelloni dishes to the menu that were also personal favorites.I would be remiss to neglect to mention the outstanding bread w/ dipping sauce that they bring to your table and the salads that are fresh, plentiful and just fantastic....I would highly recommend the creamy basil dressing.
This is a small business in a competitive market of 8 other Pizza establishments in this town. Their offerings are better than the other competitors. One order from Venice Pizza will attest to this glaring fact. Highly recommend.

Villa Nova used to be one of my favorite dining spots. Something has happened to it the past few months. The pizzas have gotten dry and skimpier, the service isn't anywhere what it used to be, and the whole experience is just plain sad. I wish I believed they can turn things around.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Duneland Pizza this evening, and want to let everyone know that this is one of the best pizzas in the area. If you are a thin crust lover, this is probably the best we've ever eaten. Duneland Pizza is celebrating its 45 year in business, and is a quaint, charming Chesterton gem. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the quality of their pizzas are 5-star. You won't be sorry - give it a try!Dear Pam,Thank you for your wonderful review. I couldn't have stated everything better myself. I'm very glad you had such a positive experience with us. We certainly try to insure that everyone that comes here leaves feeling as good about their experience as you did.Craig

We ordered sausage pepperoni pizza which tasted just like Mom used to make. From the huge sausage chunks to the extra gooey mozzarella it reminded me of childhood Friday nights. We ordered for delivery to our hotel. We were told an hour wait but it arrived piping hot about 40 minutes later. They even brought me a wine opener as I had forgotten mine at home. Our only mistake was we ordered a large. With the generous toppings we filled up quickly. Have over a third left. My husbandâs breakfast???

This was our first time visiting this place. It was great. We came in for lunch. It was a weekday and not very crowded. The service was top notch. They have a great beer selection as well. We got the doughboys appetizer and they were super good. I had the roast beef grinder. It was by far the best beef sandwich I have had in years. The meat was spiced and cooked perfect. There was zero fat on it! The bread was awesome and the cheese was melted and the whole thing was perfectly toasted. My husband had the French bread pizza. It was delish. It was on great bread, fresh sauce and cooked perfect. We will be adding this place to our dining our rotation for sure. Don't know why we waited so long to go here.

Braised lamb was very good (expensive) but everything else; 4 cheeses pizza, Solomon salad (it was special that day) and the code dish were no well prepared. No, will not go there again.

Just had a delicious meal. This a small casual restaurant that features an interesting selection of dishes and salads. Features locally grown produce with an adjacent wine bar. It has limited seating and I don't believe they take reservations but well worth it even if you have to wait. Excellent value. Try it and you will enjoy an excellent meal.
