Discover Restaurants offering the best Italian food in Cheltenham, England, United Kingdom. Cheltenham was just your average, sleepy town until the discovery of a spring in 1716, after which it became Britain's most popular spa town. (Like Palm Springs without the casinos.) Local Cheltonians have a reputation for being wealthy and respectable, and a walk along the Promenade will give you a first-class view of their wonderful houses, shops and gardens. After taking in the waters at the Pittville Pump Room (great name for a spa), check out the Art Gallery and Museum to learn about the social history of Cheltenham.

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We donât do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. Weâre all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Located just outside the town centre, Zizz
Food here was amazing! We had the calzone pizza and spicy chicken pasta, and for dessert a salted caramel chocolate brownie. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Free water for the table which you didnât even need to ask for. Good value for money. Will be visiting again soon.

ASK Italian in Cheltenham is a place for great food and warm service. Think fresh bread made to tear and share. A glass of fine wine worth deserving of your time. Delicious main dishes prepared the traditional way. Everything we know and love about Italia
I went to this restaurant with my family for lunch. There was hardly anyone in the place....maybe 2 or 3 other tables besides ours. Despite this however, the service was extremely slow. We had to wait a good 15 minutes for the dessert to be brought to the table!! So I would hate to see the length of time had the restaurant been full.... In saying this the waiter was very good. The music was so loud you had a job to hear each other speak.... As far as the food is concerned.....non-descrpit to be honest. If you like this style of Italian restaurant, open and not romantic...then I would definitely go to Prezzo.....which is located just down the hill.

An adequately made pasta dish was provided at a fairly expensive price. Facilities and surroundings good but I still wished I had looked further and found a more friendly small independent ItLian family run establishment with better food at a lower price, even if without the luxury fixtures and fittings.

Little independent Italian restaraurat!!! established on 1996!!!
I was managing an event in Quedgeley and asked a local for recommendations for a decent place to eat, and this was enthusiastically recommended. About 8:15 I booked for 9:30 and was expected on arrival. The place was busy with a large party of about 14 but it wasn't too noisy.I'd checked the menu online before booking and the printed menu presented to me was the same, containing a great choice of dishes which made it hard to choose. I opted for a simple garlic bread starter and a veal dish for a main. Both were brought to the table quite quickly and were delicious. The veal in particular was tender and plentiful with a great source and rice which was superb, as well as a nice selection of vegetables and potato. For dessert I opted for the tiramisu. The three course meal with a large glass of house red wine was a little over £31, which seemed excellent value for money, and was of great quality. Service couldn't be faulted. Well worth the 15-20 minute drive from Quedgeley and back.!

We visited this small restaurant Monday and they were busy. Or maybe it was not enough staff to work. Because girl who served us was running around and didn't had any free time to speak with us or just for small conversation. I wanted to say thank you to her for her service, she did her best. And amaretto coffe what she made for me was amazing. The food was good, I had plaice whole fish with mussels, for me it was little bit too watery or too much cooked, so all the meat was almost like a pure, but the taist was good. My partner had salmon, which was perfect. I recommend this place. Thank you. Dear Aww_our_reality,Thank you for your support and lovely review. My apologies I didn't had time to chat more with me, hopefully on your next visit we can have a proper conversation.Look forward to see you soon.Best wishesAna & Primavera Team
