Take a look at the menu on the chalkboard before getting in line. The Mac and Cheese comes highly recommended, delicious and not what you might expect, with long noodles and and they give you enough to feed three people (and that was the small size). We ordered the fried chicken, which takes an extra 25 minutes to make, and again, enough to feed at least two people (three if you also get the mac and cheese.) But it was the best fried chicken we have ever had. The atmosphere is kind of cafeteria like, though they do have a full bar. If you have the time and the hunger, this place has a great local reputation for a reason.

And itâs not just because my son in law is one of the owners! The pizza is innovative without being odd and has a great crust, the pasta is fresh and takes advantage of fresh local ingredients, and thereâs a great vibe. Get out of the Quarter and get a slice. Or better, a pie. And garlic knots.

Since 1993, upscale Italian classics draw crowds to our elegant dining room with a piano bar, in the heart of the French Quarter.
Wow - by far the best meal I had in New Orleans. I didn't have reservations so they sat me at the bar. I ordered duck and was not disappointed in this dish! The skin was crispy and the meat was so juicy. They also gave me Bruschetta before the food was served which was absolutely unexpected and delicious. I highly recommend eating here whenever you come to New Orleans!!

This is another example of how many good restaurants there are in New Orleans. Food and service were both wonderful. The meat and cheese platter was delicious. If the osso buco is available, get it. I was disappointed that we were so full we didn't have room for dessert. This a wonderful find on the edge of the French Quarter.
