Always surprised at what can be conjured up in the middle of nowhere. Service was a bit hit and miss but the food quality more than makes up for any minor flaws.Loved it. Loved the loo and the grand wash basin.
Goa, India Food Guide: 4 European food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Cavelossim
Had buffet meals for 3 days at the restaurant.Great space but seating gets full at peak breakfast time.Buffet breakfast included live counters for egg and dosas. Cut fruits, porridge, cheese variety, continental, indian and Asian spread is all laid out. Fruit juices with coffee, tea etc beverages are also available in plenty. One regret is that Egg benedict is not served in buffet. Chef refused outrightly saying that they were on a la carte menu and not on buffet. Disappointed and hence once star less. I was served Egg benedict even in a 3 star hotel in Istanbul....but then they didn't have dosas....!!Buffet dinner and lunch was far better. More order and peace. Enough seating arrangement. Starters and desserts were great especially the jalebi and rabri. Fish and prawn dishes were good and so was the chicken and mutton. Lachcha paratha from the live tandoor was just too good. At Rs 1350 plus taxes, the price is little on the higher side.Staff is cooperative and helpful.

We didn't experience the food at the restaurant. We were part of their day tour - the island tour. I think the charges are highly overrated. The trip included Dolphin watching, fishing and time spent on the island including the food. Everything went well till it was time for food. The camping site was surrounded by rubbish and it felt like sitting in the middle of a dustbin! We couldn't believe we will have our food here !! But empty and growling stomach made us not think about it too much. The food was cooked right at the spot and they were cooking a king fish. We happily assumed that the fish is our food. The tour included Indians and Russians. So guess what happened next? The fish directly went into the plates of the Russians! The Indians were with seniors and kids and were waiting and waiting. It was a sad sight to see the kids crying of hunger and food was continuously being passed to the firangs. We finally got up and grabbed the food ourselves. The food served for us was pathetic! no rotis we were given bread and sabji. When asked for fish (we paid for both veg and non-veg food) they flatly denied and said no more fish. All over ! We were shocked ! After having argued (almost begged) he reluctantly gave us some small fish which was all black! kids refused to even touch it. We had to fill our stomachs eating bread slices and saabji. The daal and rice were the saving grace. We felt cheated! There was a very kind Sikh family who also went through the same humiliation offered us their food! This whole incident left us with a bitter taste about the tour. I want to tell the owner of this cruise..don't ignore Indians! Indians are travelling across the globe with loaded pockets! Don't ignore! I am not giving a poor rating but an average because the kids still enjoyed the boat ride, thrilled seeing the Dolphins and enjoyed the beach.

Casual and fine-dining restaurant.
We'd heard that along with a great menu Frank's Dot served pizza - and despite loving Indian food, sometimes its just great to have something different!Frank and his staff were great. We enjoyed lovely cocktails before we ate. Both the vegetarian & vegan pizza were spot on. Masses of topping on a good base. After Frank presented us with an apple cake - which was lovely, and then drove us back to our hotel.Frank's Dot at Eufregina Hotel, is a new establishment on the ferry road out of Cavelossim. Although we walked there - free transport is provided from Mobor.

Great place for a Mediterranean meal. This restaurant is situated at the holiday inn resort in Cavelossim and has a good selection of pizza's and other Italian/European food. Great cocktails too. My favourite here is the tenderloin steak and the pizza's. Don't forget to try their awesome garlic bread...the best I've had!The music in the restaurant can be a bit too loud at times but if you tell them to turn it down a bit they happily oblige! Been here a few times and never been disappointed!
Multi cuisine Restaurant
We celebrated a Golden Wedding with friends there, it was a great evening with attentive and professional staff, the staff made a fuss of our friends and the band did a dedication for them too. The restaurant was busy and booking is recommended, it is a bit above the usual local eateries and the only issue we had was the lack of desserts which should have been available on the menu. But otherwise a great meal.

We're here a few times and we're never disappointed.Their Tandoori Chicken was lovely and juicy, cooked to perfection, the Hakka Noodles excellent and plentiful,Aloo Gobi, really tasty, and the service was good, one fault was the waiters did hover about us waiting for our drinks order before we'd finished what we were drinking.
