Rooms and apartaments overlooking the lake
Nice place, friendly service (the waiter explained the dishes in both Italian and English), The food choices are interesting and somehow original. The food is delicious and nicely presented. Not cheap but reasonably priced.

Just stopped with my family at the Rifugio today. Unfortunately after 2pm which means no warm food was available. BUT, the offered Vitello Tonnato was a dream, so was the coffee and sweets afterwards. What blew us away was the friendliness of the owners and their service. So warm and welcoming, they even raced after us on the hiking path because we forgot a baby shirt - just great!

We had dinner with three whole families. The owner greeted us and loved to talk about the food. It was a fantastic experience. We took his advise on the primi and segundi and we were not disappointed. The tastes were great. The location is in a historic village, which begs for a stroll before or after dinner. Finished with a delicious dessert. Unfortunately we missed the primary platter of the restaurant which is chocolate salami because they had run out. So we will have to come back one day. Bring enough cash because the dinner was pricey. But sooo worth it!

I've been here with my gf. We had a menu with one entry, a pasta duet to (two types of pasta in a dish) and a main course to choose fish of meat, coffee and dessert and wine (bottle) included for 30⬠each. Everything was local and fresh, not particularly tasty, but it's because the ingredients do not help, for example the fish, pike perch, it doesn't have an intense flavour. Nice restaurant, to visit.

Quite a nice experience to visit this restaurant. Unexpected nice atmosphere and lovely food... Although the menu was handwritten, the place is highly professional. Don't go there if you only want to have a pizza. They don't serve, they serve even better food!Starting with an appetizer only to eat with your hands, like the owner said to us: it was a very thin slice of bread with mozzarella, tomatoes and basil. After that we had some 'antipasti': 'proscuitto San Daniele con melone', 'vitello tonnato', 'tartare tonno'. All three were delicious. For us 'vitello tonnato' is number one! For the main course four of us had the dish of the day: tartellini with fresh tartufo. Really very special and the flavor was excellent. One of us had ravioli with spinach and ricotta. Intense flavor, rich of everything. Another one had tartelinni with fungi and fresh italian herbs in a soft cream sauce. Also very tasteful and delicious. For desserts there was no menu, but we could choose between several specials: sorbet lemon, panna cotta, creme caramel and tiramisu. And again even the desserts are cooked with passion and love for food. You could see and taste it!We all really enjoyed being here. So we hardly recommend this place.

I had the pleasure to be at Locanda Pozzetto several times. They were always good, the food excellent, however this time they went beyond any expectation!Despite they had few problems with some staff not showing up at work that day...we confirmed our reservation. The lady (I assume the owner) who attended on us was basically taking care on her own alone of all tables. Therefore we all were ready to spend some patience and wait...unexpectedly the service turned to be excellent, even better than usual, I thought! Not much to comment about the food: each and every bite was divine, ingredients are among the very best I've ever tasted in my life and the chef really knows how to achieve the best out of those. Servings are very generous and, surprise, prices very very very very very very honest!Locanda deserves to be visited also because of the fantastic location and the stunning view! A kinda Michelin starred restaurant where they know how to treat genuine ingredients and guests...A must try!

We discovered this restaurant on our way to Luino. It's literally just 5 minutes drive from there. No problem with parking at all. It's a fairly large modern restaurant which is also used quite often for wedding receptions and other festivities. Therefore it is recommended to find out when booking whether there is a large group dining there as well or not. We went on a Wednesday evening fairly early (booked it for 19.00 hrs.) and by 21.00 hrs. the place was full, even without a wedding or reception !!!!!!! Despite this, we (3 people) enjoyed a gorgeous 2 course meal with water and a bottle of wine for just over EU 100 if I remember rightly. Therefore not expensive considering the high quality of the food. Service was great. No complaints at all. And of course, you have the most wonderful view of Lago Maggiore

Restaurant looks very ambitious but can't proof standard.Service failed to take correct orders and served the wine late after the first main dish. Food also just standard. No excuse, nothing.Don't go there!Dear Matthias, thank you for having visited us and for writing the review; I noticed the brilliance of writing a review even on Google. A tip: I would suggest for the next time to talk directly face to face so we can dialogue and understand what went wrong.Returning to the dinner. You ordered a buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham and your partner ordered bacon with salami and fried dumplings. At the sight of the dishes you both have shown disappointment (you probably did not even understand what you ordered) and at this point you reported to me that you wanted a Caprese instead of ham.Although it was a Saturday night and pretty crowded hall of the restaurant, I did redo the dish in the kitchen trying to please you.The wine you ordered, half a bottle of Morellino di Scansano, arrived 10 minutes after it was ordered. As regard âstandard foodâ I do not even give a comment. The only fact is that you ate (from appetizer to dessert without advancing anything), drank the bottle of wine ordered, paid for the dinner and you did not even say a word of complaint to the undersigned nor hailed out, showing a deep rudeness.Honestly, I do not think we need to go further.Cordially,Andrea

We went for a little family hike around the waterfalls/ "Cascate di Cittiglio" and decided to look for a restaurant in the area. Capre e Cavoli sounded fantastic since with kids you're always happy to find a place where the food is good but the ambient is easy enough to fully enjoy the meal. We were really surprised to be welcomed in this little, cozy place where they serve you the best goat cheese that is so delicate that even my kids and my husband liked it, accompanied by great food, made from everything being found around and inside the azienda agricola. A welcoming family opens their hearts and home to offer a fix menu to small groups and makes everyone just happy to have gotten here. For sure coming back! Grazie mille!
