We are a little special family run eaterie. You can eat and drink here from 7am for breakfast untill 7.30Pm. We have sandwiches with our homemade bread (schiacciata), bruschetta and big salads with seasonal products and some wonderful pastas. If you would
The fruit plate, toast and cheese, and chocolate croissant were very good and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. The Americano coffee portions were a bit small, but otherwise everything was perfect. Also, service was prompt and the place has a great view from the window.

Best gourmet Restaurant In San Gimignano. A young team focused on creativity and the guest to create a long time remember experience. Passionate about food, super wine cellar, humble and respect are our main characteristics.
What an amazing afternoon ! Restaurant staff are exceptional. Courteous, polite and knowledgable. The service was immaculate. We went for the 5 course tasting menu with paired wines. All courses seemed to have a strong emphasis on seasonal and local produce. All perfectly balanced and creative, each and every course delicious. The homemade bread the best Iâve ever tasted. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful oasis in San Gimignano..Highly recommend making a trip to this restaurant. Truly wonderful food. Many thanks for a memorable afternoon.

Beer from the bottle but not with beer classes. ...strange...Offer of local wines sfuzo and from the bottle OK. FoodTaste honest. A bit too salty. Casarecce was not home made. Price value relation good.ServiceTrying to be friendly. He did a bit hard. I had the impression that the waiter did not learn how to be professional but trying.Cutlery and dishes were not clean. We had lunch here as part of an excursion. What an experience. The food was served buffet style and was all farm produced. The local wine was excellent, we even bought a couple of bottles to bring with us. The host/owner was gracious and we got a tour of the wine cellar. We loved Tuscany and this was a fun way to end our excursion.

Quiet place in the greenery half-way from Volterra & San Gimignano. Tipycal food at a reasonable price. Many home made products like olive oil, jams, liquors.
We were staying right near by and came here based on the reviews and also because of its convenient location near our accommodation. Note; we drove past the place in both directions twice because the sign, a large yellow one, reads "Ristorante Camere" and you cannot see that "Il Boschetto" is written in very small lettering above the part which reads ristorante camere. We gave up looking for it and decided to come here only to find we were in the right place. Don't let that stop you. With no reservations on a Thursday evening we were given a nice outside table for four at 7:30pm and had a great time. We all had pasta and some grilled meat dishes and house wine of course. The woman and young man who served us were very helpful and also spoke good english. A great choice if you are in the area, don't pass it up!

The Zafferano restaurant in San Gimignano is part of the agriturismo Casanova di Pescille: a typical Tuscan family cottage, smoothly run today by its fifth generation, and offering bucolic views. The young professional chef Saverio Fanciullini runs the ki
We had a very nice evening at this restaurant. Every dish is beautiful presented and dilicious. Primi we ordered Pici and Lasagna. Secondi the duck and deer. Both very nice. The duck was outstanding! As a dessert we both ordered the Semifredo; the salted caramel was amazing.. Prices are a high, but worth it. (if you eat 3 courses you really don't need to order sidedishes by the maincourse, it will be to much) The staff is very very friendly and helpfull. They gave us good advices about the wineparing. For a nice, longer and more chique diner: def. recommend!

Lovely little place for an authentic Tuscan lunch. We stopped here our way to another village and were kindly welcomed by the owner. After spending 3 days in Tuscany I finally felt like I was actually here experiencing the lovely home made fresh food, with the sound of the animals in the background on the sunny but shaded terrace. Nothing flash but just pure authentic quality food. Great affordable prices too!!!

Regional Cuisine of Tuscany
The proprietor told us that his family has been in the restaurant business for several generations, and it shows. From the lineup up of olive oils, arranged from the mildest to the most robust so you can try them with delicious toasted bread whlle you wait for your meal, to the good advice in regard to which wine to order and which foods to try, this was a spectacular lunch. We felt so well taken care of. We wanted to order some pasta to share - no issue. I've been to restaurants that won't do this, or charge extra, here it was accommodated cheerfully. We loved the pasta with truffle sauce, the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, the grilled beef with rosemary, the mixed salad. My friend, who comes to Italy often, said the minestrone was the best she had ever had. We had chocolate souffle for dessert and it was excellent. There is an interesting assortment of wines and liqueurs for purchase, but by the time we saw them we had completed our credit card transaction, so we'll save those for our next visit. Also good to know: unlike most places in the area, which close at 2 or 2:30, Tre Archi is open until 3. We had a nice chat with the extremely pleasant proprietor, who speaks excellent English. And we spotted the wife, who runs the kitchen, and her helper -- both looking so adorable and tidy. Highly recommended family establishment.

We found this wonderful place here at TripAdvisor and decided to have a birthday dinner there tonight. The food, drinks and service was excellent. We had an aperitif, a starter, pizza, wine, dessert and digestif. Everything was perfect.

The restaurant itself is a little odd but we chose to sit outside around the back of the restaurant. The garden is beautiful with flowers and a canopy and we have a beautiful view of the setting sun. The staff were all very pleasant. Unfortunateky the food was rather odd. Odd combinations of pastries and sauces with overly elaborate garnishes. I think it was mostly reheated and it lacked much flavour. I asked for gluten free options (using language cards to make sure I was totally understood) and was recommended the asparagus gratin. This turned out to be asparagus topped with melted cheese. Not a very nice meal but lovely place to go and sit with drinks.
