A high quality, fine dining experience. Beautiful views of the valley and gorgeous sunset vistas. Located in a private country club with many golf courses up in the mountains, one can see a plethora of wildlife. Service was fantastic. Establishment was clean, organized, well run and extremely professional. Many places to sit inside as well as on the porches with the views. High quality Italian cuisine. I would recommend to any one to come here. Restaurant could be argued to be one of the best in the Valley. Expensive restaurant, this is a dining experience.

I had the Vongole and Pasta. The bowl had a nice display of fresh clams in their shell around the edge. Fresh pasta too was nice, but the sauce was made with canned chopped clams??? It would have been more consistent if the made it with canned "whole" baby clams instead. For dessert I had the Cannoli, which was "spot on good". One of the best in a long time.
We enjoyed the pinsa pizza very much - it's a light, crispy crust with a little chew, but not a great deal of cornicione. The deliciously fresh tasty toppings were distributed with the classic Italian lightness, unlike many local establishments. The meatball sandwich served on home-made bread was excellent. Charming service and a simply perfect outdoor setting.

Welcome to Brugos Pizza, lovingly owned and run by Troy and myself, Christina Luisa (Cefalu) McDonald, Cave Creek residents. Growing up the way I did, I want our place to feel like you are coming over to our house for dinner! Full and beautiful indoor out
Having experienced thousands of eating establishments of all levels all over the world, our "adventure" here was short and unbelievable. One of us has gluten and dairy allergies and we called ahead to see if they could be accommodated. We were told that gluten free pizza and pasta were available.Arriving at a nearly empty restaurant we were eventually greeted by a less than friendly hostess. A pleasant, gentle server came and took drink orders, but when asked about gluten and the menu, she really wasn't well informed and suggested the gluten free pizza crust. We advised that dairy was also a problem and when she returned from asking the kitchen we were informed that the pizza crust contained butter! We then progressed to pasta dishes, which the menu suggested had gluten free penne as an option. So we ordered plain gluten free penne just with olive oil. The server returned and advised that the kitchen could not, no would not provide this. We would have to order one of the set pasta dishes with their sauce and other ingredients. At this point we were incredulous and asked to speak to the manager. Our server disappeared and after some time we saw her in conversation with someone (manager?) back near the kitchen. It was clear that whoever it was would not come out to address our concerns. At that point we left and certainly will never return. This was indeed an unfortunate experience and very disappointing as we regularly patronized their previous location where the owner was fully present and concerned about customer satisfaction. No wonder the place was empty!.We wound up going down the road to an overcrowded Oregano's where the service was incredible.

From Puglia to Arizona. Italian traditional dishes and more.
We just made reservations for our 4th dinner in the 6 weeks we've been back in Desert Mountain for this winter season. What a delight every visit has been. Corrado himself is a hands-on chef-owner was a great pedigree from many fine restaurants, including one we loved on Central Park South, during our NYC residency days. His dishes are varied, authentic and very well prepared. HIs selection of pasta extensive. Sauces....superb!! Prices are very favorable as compared to others in the high-end Italian market. The wine list is excellent at favorable prices. Ask Corrado for help with an Italian wine selection and you'll be quite happy with both quality and value. One notable like for us is the low noise level. We can hear everyone at our table. It's a treat to invite friends for their first time and have them become instant disciples.Service can be a little slow, but if the speed for the evening is important, you probably won't appreciate what this unique restaurant offers. I read with interest a terrible review from someone who did not get served appetizers to his satisfaction at the bar and left without eating. His rating may have been accurate for a particular night at the bar, but he missed the bonanza food. All I can say is if you have just a little patience and love great food....give this place a chance to delight you.Thank you, Corrado, for what you have brought to Carefree. We look forward to this Thursday when we bring yet another couple friend for their first visit to your restaurant.Thank you for understanding what i am trying to accomplish. Quality over Quantity.I promise to keep working hard for all of you.Corrado.

owned and operated by Alberto Liani, it is a small (11 table) restaurant in Carefree, Arizona (near the Boulders Resort). He formerly operated a restaurant in Beverly HIlls and it is one of the best Italian restaurants I have ever eaten in. he prepares
Alberto seems to try his best I do wish he would cook the meals. He is the front man and two girls do the rest out front. First time we tried he had the place full with some type of group outing and we were turned away. The second time there was no wait not busy at all. Wife had the salmon in balsamic vinegar which she said was ok I had lasagna wish I would have had the pumpkin ravioli the lasagna was not the best. Very good bread and house wine.

A very busy place with their own parking lot. Service is very pleasant. We waited a few moments before being seated seated. The owners had some pizza samples to try. Donât be alarmed; the pizza is cut into squares! While waiting for the server, you can look around at the old tv programs. We got a salad and pizza. Be ready for a large salad. We shared the enormous salad which has good flavor and fresh ingredients. The pizza was on point. You may sit inside or outside if the weather is cooperating.

I was searching for gluten-free pizza in the Cave Creek area. This place has ample seating for small and large groups. We shared a small salad. I ordered a gluten free pizza. The crust was not the typical grainy, soggy rice mess and most closely resembled regular pizza crust. My husband ordered the original crust pizza and said it was ok.

Good basic Italian fare. Nothing too gourmet but it was all solid. Large portions, good waitstaff, reasonably priced. Decent ambience. Whats not to like? Very good cannoli.
