Our friends raved about the tuna carpaccio, and being a huge fan of sashimi, we had to try it. It was served with capsicum icecream (!), crushed olives and an astonishing amount of Sea Salt. Unless the fish is old and they want to preserve it, I don't know why so many Italian restaurants choke their fish with excessive salt. Remove the salt and this dish would have been five stars. I couldn't scrape it off due to the covering of melted icecream so it gets three stars for potential. Conversely, the Pasta al scoglio (seafood marinara) was lacking salt...??? As that was easily fixable, it rates well. Overall an interesting dining experience in a great location.

Nuovissimo, elegante, luminoso.
Siamo aperti a pranzo e cena
Pizza eccellente, anche la pizza classica con l'impasto che utilizzano diventa un'altro gusto. Eccellente. Grazie di tutto

Love the food and the service is excellent! Very polite staff! If you want a meal ready in 5 mins. This is an elegant private setting restaurant, of course it's not gonna take couple of mins to have food ready and served. You can def. see that the products are fresh and cooked properly. If you love coffee, I advice to try cappuccino, it's amazing! Exactly how it should be! Anyhow, I recommend this restaurant if you're into Italian food.

The quaint restaurant serves delicious, fresh Sicilian food (the chocolate flan [like a soufflé or pudding-cake] was unparalleled in deliciousness!) and the service was friendly and conscientious yet relaxed. We stayed at the hotel for ten nights and ate at the restaurant nearly every day! The steaks are mouthwatering and pasta al-dente. Cristina, the absolutely lovely, friendly proprietor, suggested items which were not on the menu which the chef could make: I cannot recommend the Pistachio Ravioli highly enough!!! We would ask to change the pasta or mix up sauce combinations with no complaint but we definitely had favourite dishes: we ate the steak with rocket at least four times; and in order to enjoy more variety my husband would order a steak, me a pasta and then have half of each! The prawn & asparagus pasta (we had with penne) was delicious as was the peppercorn steak. And my mouth grieved when we left and I could no longer have the chocolate flan I had enjoyed no less than six times! For added luxury, during the day, we enjoyed many lunches by the perfectly-clear, clean, bright pool.

If you're planning an event in Capo d'Orlando this is the place! Gianfranco is wonderful and will make sure your event is perfect. We recently got married and our reception at Il Circoletto was absolutely amazing! Gianfranco and his sister Enza made sure we were happy with all the details and our reception could not have been more beautiful! The food is fantastic and the service is great. I'm a vegetarian and I was very happy with the menu. The venue itself is so pretty, the pool provides a gorgeous backdrop. We couldn't be happier with our wedding! Thank you Gianfranco!!

Typical sicilian products. Meat, fish and fresh vegetables.
Our dining experiences in Sicily since arriving 6 days ago havenât been what weâd expected due to a combination of factors. We were (perhaps unrealistically) hoping that the meal at the highly rated Ristorante Il Sarchiapone would surprise on the upside. It didnât. Guided by the friendly waitress, we ordered an antipasto of fish. Though distinctly remembering that we ordered one plate of the entree to share, two large plates arrived comprising of morsels of fried, frittered and creamed seafood in various shapes and colours. The entree was far from satisfactory with much of it seeming like leftovers. The entree wouldâve been enough but we were enticed by the waitress to order main courses as well. I ordered tuna with pistachio which was nothing more than diced tuna lightly crumbed in pistachio. My partner had tuna in a spicy sauce. This came as a thick tuna steak which he found inedible being red raw right through. We left our mains half uneaten and struggled to finish the bottle of Chardonnay - again a glass each wouldâve sufficed. Needless to say we didnât have any desserts. The meal came up to â¬88 - which is a hefty price to pay for a meal in a small town. Still, the restaurant had a lovely ambience despite the strains of passé American jazz standards in the background. And the staff were friendly and eager to please....

Trattoria. Cucina tipica siciliana. Menù fisso. Salumi, formaggi, verdure locali di stagione, carni locali. No pesce. Prenotazione gradita.
Disìu is located a little outside city center but definitely worth a visit. Due to off-season we were the only guests but the owners were extraordinarily kind and welcoming. We had a five course variety of starters and filled conchiglie for starters and then lasagnetta and Nebrodi pig for main course. What can I say? It was just perfect! They even managed to make vegetarian variations for me. The menu is super creative using local specialties and ingredients and mixing it with oriental, Asian, Indian, English and many more influences and it all tasting beyond imagination. Everything was fresh and handmade and the meat was on point as well. Unfortunately we hadnât enough room in our stomachs to try dessert. The wines are exquisite with even very good house wine. What tops the food are the hosts. Very nice and creative people and down to earth. And they are able to explain the menu in English - not too common here. Disìu offers a high quality fusion kitchen, made with love Even at a reasonable price. Not the regular pizza and pasta restaurant, which is definitely worth the visit. We had a fantastic evening there and thorough recommend eating here!Thank you so much
