A boutique Italian Neighbourhood Restaurant.
I havent been to a Italian Restaurant since going GF many years ago as I didnt want to insult beautiful Italian Pasta. What a mistake. Heaps of GF options as well as DF and vegan. Everything cooked to perfection. We have always wanted to try duck fat potatoes....yum! We will be back...all the way from Rangiora as it is well worth it. Lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere.

Family meal last night in remembrance of our lost son so not a celebration but more a remembrance. Service friendly and very helpful. Ambiance very good. Buzzy for an early Thursday night.Bruschetta was very good and kids well looked after. Major downside was the seafood risottos. Both were disappointing as a large amount of stock had not been absorbed as it should be. Very disappointing. Everything was swimming in stock. In comparison the risotto at No. 4 restaurant, just round the corner, is always excellent and perfection. Try it. No relationship with No. 4.

We prepare and cook woodfired pizzas to order with only fresh and local ingredients. We provide vegetarian and gluten free options.
Another great meal of pizza at Little High. Somehow didn't make the same impact as least time, which was 6 out of 5, but still great pizza and wonderful milk shakes. Only has straight chips this time, at daughter's suggestion. Wrong! The loaded chips are fantastic and a definite for the next visit. Same for pizza - go for the full value tastes and enjoy. Thanks for the review ...we appreciate your feedback

Benvenuti. Since 1991 Cafe Valentino has been one of Christchurch's favourite dining and drinking destinations, and it's easy to see why. Cafe Valentino offers superb food, an excellent bar and great atmosphere! Lunch at 3.00? Dinner at 9.00? No problem!
This is where you go in Christchurch if you miss having a pizza in Naples. Wood-fired pizzas with a wide range of toppings and the ability to customise one to your tastes as well. They have great pasta too, plus a range of desserts, but this boy tends to go for pizza only (should I name drop the Sorrento and Naples pizzerias I've visited?) as I miss the authentic ones I've had in Italy. This is the closest to it. Efficient, polite wait staff, great range of New Zealand, international and Italian wines and speedy service. Bookings absolutely essential.

Twice we rocked up to this restaurant without reservations and both times they accommodated us without fuss. Generous Italian hospitality and an inclusive wine list with Peroni beers. The food was authentic like in Italy and the flavours uncomplicated, silky smooth Italian pastas and gnocchis. We had the pear and Roquefort salad as a starter which Iâd have again. The pizzas are wood fired and about the right texture but could be a little crispier. Lamb pasta was outstanding. All four of us would go again today if we lived in Christchurch. Cannoli I could eat all day.
