First time we ordered they were out of salads. Disappointed but ordered a pepperoni pie for takeout. This NJ girl thought it was excellent! Thin crust, great taste. Then we ordered again. This time they had salad. Salad was good but vinaigrette was cloyingly sweet which I donât even know how you can do that. Got a pepperoni again and it was not even close to the same pizza. This time rather than a NY style crust, it was way too thick, greasy and soggy bottom. Completely different type of pepperoni (first was large rounds and second was basically small Hormel slices) and the Supreme just wasnât good - sausage chunks without flavor and completely soggy. We threw it away. We thought this was going to be our go-to place but we were completely disappointed. And it it NOT Neapolitan style pizza; more like bad midwestern pizza.

We were in Big Sky, looking for a place to eat. We chanced upon Enoteca. It was early, so dinner service hadn't started yet. Micaela (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) informed us that she could get the chef to put together a meat and cheese platter for us. We checked out the menu, and said, "sure." We were NOT expecting what we got. It was amazing, three gorgeous cheeses, and three sumptuous meats, lovely bread, and cornichons, mustard sauce and a brilliant honey/balsamic reduction. WOW! The flavours were all delicately paired, and served by a well-informed, super-friendly and just plain awesome hostess. We took our time, savouring every delicious mouthful. Fantastic! We lingered so long over our unexpectedly delightful food, that, suddenly, it was time for dinner. We were not moving! The menu items were fantastic. We were pretty full from the platter, so ordered some smaller dishes. (I hope I get them right) An eggplant involute, stunning... thinly sliced roasted eggplant, rolled and stuffed with a gorgeous ricotta cheese, laid in a bed of some kind of marvelous handmade tomato napoli and exquisite olive oil, topped with mozzarella cheese and basil. We also had the homemade bison ravioli, which was simply amazing. It was in some kind of au jus that had to have some magic sprinkled on it, and beautiful poached scalloped squash with it. We had a Sangria with the meal, and (since I make Sangria myself, I can be quite critical). The Sangria was amazing as well. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the chef topped off our meal with a luxurious strawberry semi freddo, with just a hint of fresh basil on the top, served with a smooth, almost velvety limoncello. Our taste buds died, went to heaven, were reborn and died again. If you are ever in Big Sky, and like brilliant food, simply look no further.P.S. It is my husband's favourite restaurant in America now.

I think a new language needs to be invented that includes adequate words to describe how amazing this food was. I travel all over the world and this restaurant ranks at the top of my list for great food, including the homemade macaroons. (Just the right crunch on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth with a hint of raspberry chocolate on the inside.) Bruce, the owner, was friendly and engaging. We were with a large group of friends so ordered a wide variety of meals. Every meal was fabulous, and the desserts were equally wonderful. Reasonable pricing made the entire experience unforgettable. This is a "must stop to eat" place to put on your bucket list. If you find yourself in MT and no where near Ennis, take a detour. You deserve to treat yourself to some of the best food in the world.

Exquisite Italian cuisine prepared by our award winning Executive Chef, Michael Annandono, served Italian style in our classic yet contemporary dining room. Fine dining in a casual environment.
A nonstarter. Early for a 6:30 weeknight reservation, left at the hostess stand while they âcleared the tableâ, then shown to a booth in the bar area, about 3 feet away from the backs of people sitting at the bar watching sports TV â not our idea of fine dining ambiance. We asked to be moved to the dining room and were left to wait again before being refused. The dining room was > 70% empty, and we had a reservation. We went to By Word of Mouth, got a table, excellent food/service. We canât comment on Michelangelo's food, but would never go back for their idea of hospitality; days later the reservation service notified us they had listed us as no-show.

We have been visiting Big Sky for 3 years + during ski season and now that we bought a vacation home here we are coming in all seasons. Ousel & Spur is yummy! I know they are known for their pizza, but I crave their spaghetti and meatballs. Whether we dine in, or take out, I visit once every time we are in town. Yum Yum!We are right there with you Fedancefun. Can't get enough of those spaghetti and meatballs. Thanks for your business and being such loyal customers. Please say hi next time you are in town.
