We visited the restaurant during our holiday in Italy - we were 15 and the staff catered for us really well. Have to say leave room for the antipasti - absolutely LOVELY! Great local wines. We happened upon this treasure of a restaurant. The partners were charming and the food absolutely divine. My husband had pasta with bacon, courgettes, cream and Parmesan and I had gluten free pasta with chilli, tomatoes, walnuts and Parmesan. We both followed with the tenderest veal cooked in two different ways, simple but delicious. The wines were affordable, local and good and we ended with a fennel and bay digestive made by Mamma, as was all the food. We dined in the pretty courtyard and had a very special evening.
We used to live in Calvi and had pizza from here about 4 or 5 times a week. Its pizza by the slice with just about every topping you can imagine. Everytime we come back for a visit I make sure to stop by here. You can eat like a king for pennies. Family owned and you just cant beat the quality or price.

Absolutely loved this place! Local produce, good wine and fantastic view. Only an hours drive from Rome, this hidden gem is close to the abandoned village of Fianello which is also worth a look. Staff were friendly and the food tasty!

A Sunday afternoon lunch, high in the Sabine Hills, north of Rome, with an amazing view, sounds good - yes! Beautifully laid out restaurant, spacious and clean, with huge windows emphasizing the incredible view. Busy, friendly waiters and lots of families enjoying their food. I had a salad of mushrooms, rocket and black truffle - light and delicious. My friend had a cestino - a cheese pie with flaky pastry - that she said was delicious. The other had a gnocchetti - small potato balls in a tomato sauce - that he said was excellent. For main I had fillets of rabbit, moist, savoury and well seasoned. My friend had the duck in a moscato wine sauce - both were very good. Followed up by 2 delicious desserts and all washed down with a local white wine. This is probably a restaurant for locals, but if you are an adventurous traveller seek this place out (Michelin Guide). It's just off the autostrada and 10 minutes up into the hills. The food is excellent, the service very good, the price is very reasonable (E35 each, including wine!), the view is stunning and the surrounding countryside rivals any found in its more famous neighbour, Tuscany. La bella vita!

We eat here regularly: excellent, huge, thin crispy pizza with many choices of topping - we don't eat pizza anywhere else. They also do take-away. House wine is very drinkable and recommended. Outside terrace for Summer eating, overlooking the valley. At weekends always crowded so you need to book for Fri & Sat dinner. The menu is extensive and pasta, risotto and Antipasti are all good. Service is fast despite it being crowded, the young waiter speaks excellent English and the helpful, smiling service is just great!

A wonderful meal in a beautiful part of the world. A great panoramic view of Calvi Dell Umbria from the garden restaurant. Fillet Steaks were cooked to perfection and very large portions served. The service was slow on a busy night but this did not distract from a very relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely return before the end of our holiday. Very little English spoken but very friendly and accommodating staff.

Fantastic views of the sunset, which made the visit worthwhile. Waitress/owner speaks excellent English and very helpful, however the food was rather ordinary. Steaks fine rather than great, pasta dishes very good, but mushroom "risotto" turned out to taste like plain boiled rice with some mushrooms in. Wine cheap. Desserts limited.Overall bill fine, but have eaten better elsewhere in the area for far less.

We ate there after recommendation of a friend. We were with five people without reservation on a saturday night. Although you need to follow the (paved and unpaved) road longer than you think, the food and service is fantastic!!! Excellent value for money. Made great effort to make things suitable also for vegetarians, this food was lovely as well. Lovely waiter. Felt like being spoiled at an Italian home.
