Also known as Brunswick, Braunschweig is, at about 250,000 people, the largest city between Hannover and Berlin. Many of Braunschweig's most historic buildings surround the city center Burgplatz (Castle Square), including the 12th-century Braunschweiger Dom (Brunswick Cathedral), burial place of the famed Henry the Lion, powerful early Duke of Saxony. Henry's rebuilt castle, Burg Dankwarderode, is also on the Burgplatz and is now a museum. The Old City Market is another popular visitor spot.

We went to the Braunschweig location 3 times during our 10 day stay. If you accept the premise of a self serve restaurant, and like fresh tasty Pasta and Risotto, this is a great stop. This location has tons of outdoor seating, great for people watching. The pizza is pretty good, but the Lasagna and Fungi Risotto is excellent. Cooked in front of you, and ingredients added to your liking. A few language barrier issues, but hey, their English was WAY better then my German! Great quality food for decent value.
Bravi ragazzi! Weiter so!!!

The owner is a great raconteur. Have good experience with a birthday party reception, lunch and also using the upstairs room for presentations, coffee and cakes.

Step out of the lift on the sixth floor at the top of the tower and enter a large square shaped restaurant with white table cloths, lots of space between tables and a nice atmosphere. All the diners seemed to be having a nice time enjoying the food and wine, some going out on the two balconies to admire the view. Lovely pasta dishes, asparagus in season and fresh fish on the menu. Great for business, pleasure, romance or all of them! Really a very stylish and good quality restaurant with a difference.

Very nice restaurant along with delicious food. The staff also is very friendly except the one who brought our food. Unfortunately I do not know his name but he was wearing a black tshirt. He is kind of short and he has a beard. Hope the manager will recognize him with this description. When he brought the food he was saying some stuff in German like as a tourist I have to know the language. But I have general knowledge to understand the plate was hot so I tried to hold the plate with caution while he was not let it go and kept holding ( the plate also was not hot at all!) and he got frustared and set the plate on the table with a rude attitude... Very pitiful for a very nice restaurant to have servers like him... Because the rest of the staff was very professional I did not want to rate the place unfairly! So if you want to have some nice Italian food you should stop by this place hoping you will not experience what I had...Ciao AltioUnlu,Just a short note to say how very sorry we are! We do understand your annoyance. We can assure you that we take your complaint seriously and will do our best to put things right. There can sometimes be hiccups, especially when we are full to capacity. We would be very pleased, though, if you were to give us another chance to show that we can normally do better.Cordiali saluti,The L'Osteria Team

A good Italien restaurant with a cozy ambience. The welcome is with their houuse made buschetta and end is with schnapps :) The food is good and reasonable but the service time is more. We tried their speciality and it was delicious. avarage rate for each dish is around 8 euros.

Everything is good here, from starters (raw ham, burrata, mozzarella, grilled veggies and various seafood) to main dishes, wether pasta or meat/fish. All prepared and cooked in perfect italian tradition. A bit pricey, but worth a visit.
