Turquoise lagoons, soft white sands, and deep tangerine sunsets set the scene for romance on the island so nice they named it twice. Mingle with tropical fish as you flutter around Coral Gardens or Tupitipiti Point, or relax in a self-driving tour as you take in beautiful views of the once-volcanic Mount Otemanu. At the Lagoonarium you can watch shark feedings and swim with turtles. Cap it all off with a succulent meal at one of the island’s fine French restaurants, then sip a tropical cocktail under the stars.

Five of us dine here. Service was outstanding, parents, son and his wife and a tired three year old. They rushed his meal so he would be happy so the rest of us could enjoy the evening. I had the veal and it was superb, wife and daughter in law the gnocchi and of course our grandson got his free ice cream for dessert. All kids get a bracelet the gets them free ice cream.

I was excited to try this on hot day while bike riding. The interior and exterior seating areas were nice. The inside has air conditioning. Lots of fruity flavors but surprisingly no chocolate. I tried one scoop of watermelon and one scoop of coconut. Both were thick and creamy but the flavors were too mild. I could barely taste the coconut. The watermelon was better.

We wandered down here from the Sofitel after shopping at the little market & are really enjoyed it. There were lots of interesting choices on the menu, but we had the Lorraine (sp?), which used a creme fraiche sauce, mozzarella, lardons, black olives, & just a touch of oregano; got a large, which was large enough to be dinner that night, & lunch the next day. The crust was thin & perfect, & the creme fraiche a nice change from the Alfredo sauce we get at home. Went back a couple of days later, & stayed with the Lorraine, but got a small one, which fed two of us easily. Both times we brought our own beverages, which the chef was cool with. Prices were average for Bora Bora; the large was 18000 XFP, the small 16000.
