Bertucci's restaurants are firing-up brick ovens from New England to Virginia, each reflecting the distinct character and local charm of its community. Like the original Bertucci's, every kitchen is open, making our brick oven part of the restaurant exper
My daughter and grandson and I stopped for lunch after taking my two year old grandson to the Wenham Museum. The waitress was so friendly and helpful! She was very attentive to my grandson's needs! He has chicken tenders and broccoli ! We share a salad and pizza! Everything was delicious! Betsy, Thank you so much for writing such a wonderful review of Bertucci's. We really appreciate it. All the best to you!~LauraBertucci's

Stopped for lunch this afternoon and enjoyed yummy Chicken parm and pasta. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken was nice and juicy, with a crisp exterior and lots of gooey melted cheese. Their sauce is thick and very tasty, much better than what you will find in the local chain restaurants like the 99, Olive Garden, etc. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service, and they made you feel comfortable and welcome. Very reasonable prices and large portions! It's a very laid back place, and it looked like a lot of regulars drop by for lunch. They have a large bar seating area along with tables and booths. They are only open for lunch until 2:30 and then for Dinner on Thurs, Fri and Sat only. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed!

We chose Chianti Restaurant based, in part, on the Trip Advisor reviews, and, in part, on the location, which was across the street from The Cabot Theatre where we had tickets for Peter Whiteâs Christmas show. We arrived 15 minutes late for our 6 p.m. reservation. Difficulty finding parking in downtown Beverly (who knew?) delayed us. The staff was great about it and, in general, I have to give the staff at Chianti high marks. Sadly, I canât say the same for the food which we found mediocre at best. We shared the meatballs in red sauce to start. They were pedestrian, not inedible, but not at all refined or interesting. Handsome Companion then had the Portobello Mushroom Salad, a base of fresh spinach, with hot Portobello mushrooms and roasted red pepper. The ingredients were good, but the proportions were all wrong, with lots of spinach left and nothing to jazz it up. Our main courses, Lamb Osso Bucco and vegetarian Risotto (pronounced ârizz- ottoâ by more than one of the waitstaff; really?) was not. It was rice with vegetables, which wasnât terrible, but was hardly my idea of a risotto. The rice wasn't Arborio or Carnaroli or Acquerello. It was just rice. H. C.âs Lamb Osso Bucco was fatty with lots of gristle. Add to the disappointing food that the restaurant is cold and noisy. I simply donât understand the glowing reviews.

My friends and I recently selected Evviva Cucina for a pre-theater dinner mostly because they take reservations, which guaranteed us a table. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I asked to substitute the basil on my Pizza Margarita for pesto and was happily accommodated. My pizza was delicious and exactly how I had requested it. My friends also greatly enjoyed their lobster mac & cheese, caesar salads, burger and pizza. This was our first time here but surely not our last!

After walking around the wharf we were looking for a lunch place that wasnât seafood, stumbled upon the little place. Really wasnât sure of what to expect as the menu is small but we were not disappointed, we split a strawberry fields salad and a pizza, WOW, both tasty and just enough to keep you running around for another 4 hours! A little gem stop by

I stopped in here because of the location & because the bar itself was visibly appealing. I did not eat here, but several folks around me at the bar were eating, & seemed very happy with their food choices. I was served a cold beer by a friendly bartender, & was clearly surrounded by repeat customers. This is a place worthy of a return visit.

We had dinner here and for an Italian Restaurant, we were slightly disappointed.Table was incredibly wobbly; they had no ice cream; lemon sorbet was straight out the freezer and inedible for the first 10 mins. Cover charge of $5 above the normal cost for having a shared meal. Food was fine and the service a bit hit or miss. Very small tight restaurant. And quite dark inside.

Toscana Bar Italiano (Beverly) is a classically modern gastrobar which boasts award winning Italian cuisine, premium craft cocktails and martini's, and an extensive wine and beer selection in a friendly, casual neighborhood atmosphere. Conveniently locate
We found the restaurant to be pleasant, the wine list interesting, our waitress, Amber, attentive and accommodating, the portions huge, and the food delicious. The caprese was particularly enticing, competing with the veal rollatini for deliciousness. Excellent Beverly choice.
