We ARE different. Our food cost is higher, but thatâs okay with us since that means we get to serve you a higher quality product and something creative and different. Try our pizza and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience with our unique soft & sweet Honey-Cr
Pizza, chicken, salad and dessert. Family friendly with many booths as well as tables. Great variety of pizza choices on the buffet. Tonight they had tomato soup too. The chicken breast was properly cooked, moist and tasty. Drinks had to be at least 20 oz.

for a plate-o-spaghetti on Saturday afternoon. I talked my son and daughter-in-law into going with me to the Grinders and Spaghetti Restaurant in Davenport. I had been to the restaurant years before when it was on W. Locust St. and felt then that it was pretty good. But, years later, would it be the same? (I was "out on a limb here" with my suggestion to them.) In a word, yes, it was. My son and I each had plain spaghetti with an order of 4-meatballs. Bingo! My craving for great spaghetti was satisfied! It was hot and very tasty! The salad that came with the dinner was pretty plain-nothing to write home about-but the spaghetti was great! The hot garlic bread was very good, too! I will go back again whenI am in Davenport. Note: This is not a fancy restaurant-more American cafe style-but their prices are fair and reasonable.

Brace yourself, and come hungry. Every darn thing about this place is divine. The staff is fantastic, as is the food. Inexpensive yet top-notch Italian. Excellent value. I usually order the Fettuccine with shrimp. The shrimp is HUGE and the dish is a doozy. Delectable! I come here often. Itâs much better than going to Olive Garden and Biaggiâs. Home-cooked Italian with local owners. They make you feel like family. My only suggestion is to upgrade the decor and dining area. If they did this, it would qualify for a Michelin award! Their tiramisu is unreal!!!

My wife is from the Quad Cities and whenever we come back she insists on Harris Pizza. This time we tanked up on a deluxe pizza and the cheese bread. The pizza is always a family favorite

Great service and food. Parking is limited. This is a loud restaurant even at 8 PM. The restaurant has a open atmosphere that amplifies sound. The food was great. We had the seared scallops and eggplant parmigian. We had excellent service. I recommend reservations on Friday and Saturday nights.

Family chicago style pizza joint
This small family run place does an excellent job. Three of us shared a Cesar salad without the chicken and a large thin crust pizza with sausage, tomatoes and giardenira. The salad was crisp and tasty served with plenty of an excellent dressing (in a package) on the side. The pizza was packed with toppings and delicious. The only thing I would change were the peppers. We thought they would be milder due to the type they were. We like hot peppers a lot but in this case they overwhelmed the other flavors so we picked many if them off. Still, a great pizza.

where to start? Arrived a few minutes early for our reservation, were seated just inside the door, it seemed. Service arrived later -- much later. Calamari appetizer was good, property cooked to my way of thinking. Then things went south. After some time, the server arrived; we ordered wine. it was presented later. We ordered dinner; salads arrived, mine had the wrong dressing. Server disappeared. Finally asked someone on the floor to find her. She returned. I pointed out that I asked for blue cheese dressing, not the house. Ok. She said, leaving the salad at the table. Steaks arrived next. My companion said, no, I don't want the entree with my salad in front of me. My "other" salad arrived. Server asked if we wanted our steaks returned to the kitchen. Yes, thank you. At some time after we finished our salads (punishment perhaps?) our steaks returned, I've never seen a skinnier ribeye -- or had one so salty and overcooked. AT this point, our goal was to eat and leave. After paying the tab, my companion asked a nearby person to talk with us. "Are you the manager?" he inquired. "For today, yes" she replied. My companion related our adventure She said she could not adjust the tab since it had been run, but offered us her sympathy and a glass of wine. we accepted both. Suffice to say I've been here before and I loved the food and service. But I guess all good things must end. I will be back in Moline, but not at Johnny's.Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am disappointed to hear about your recent experience.
