Had friends in town last night and had been referred to this restaurant. The server was an older man that barely waited for our reply as he was already walking away to another table. We had lackluster appetizers and The 4 different entrees were absolutely horrible. Almost inedible. Drowning in a cheap red sauce. Seriously, jarred sauce from the grocery store is better. My chicken Tosca was smothered in a butter sauce that didn't improve the taste. Truly embarrassed with our dinner selection for our out of town guests and will not return.

Can't believe Bella Piatti has been around since 2013 and this was our first visit. The place was hopping early on a Wednesday night, but the service was prompt and friendly. Liked the wine list (we had a Sancerre), the bread, the calamari, the pasta and the asparagus resotto. We'll be back.Hope you will return and thanks for the great review!

This is by far the best pizza in metro Detroit area. Been coming here since 1982. It does get very busy on wknd nights, but worth it. A must when in Madison Hts, Michigan. When Iâm not out here, I will visit the one in Clinton Twp.

I've been here twice and each time has been amazing! The hospitality of the owners is amazing - they are awesome! Each dish is carefully prepared and I once went for an anniversary celebration recently and they give you a "special menu" to take home it was so nice! Highly recommend!

Located in the lively downtown city of Royal Oak, this restaurant/bar serves typical American fare- hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, fish & chips, & pizza. I had the fish & chips, & my girlfriend had a salad. Both were okay, but nothing out of the ordinary. Drinks (wine) were generous, staff was friendly. In fairness, we found out from a family member after our visit that this restaurant is known for their great pizza, so we will return soon to check it out. Reasonably priced with a nice atmosphere.

First time here and went with another couple for their prime rib for two on Thursday nights. Three courses plus a bottle of wine for $50. Good deal. Service from Marvin was perfect and meal was enjoyable. Great homemade donut and ice cream desert. Not loud and easy parking in city lot across the street.

This upscale, lively restaurant, located on Woodward Ave north of 11 Mile Road, never disappoints. We've had dinner here 6 times in the past 6 months, and it's always busy- even on Mondays! The Maryland Chicken, consisting of chicken breasts with crab in a creamy sauce is my fav, but the blackened whitefish, sandwiches, salads, & fresh, homemade bread make this one of Royal Oak's best eateries! Make a reservation, even for 2 people, around dinner hours (5:00 - 7:30pm) or you will have to wait for a table. Nice bar, good cocktails, & a lively, but not too loud, atmosphere. Two thumbs up.

We have heard good reviews but we're very disappointed in the atmosphere and overall attitude of the wait staff. We entered and approached what we thought was the hostess area only to be totally ignored by several passing staff. We finally stopped one who literally shouted as she passed "there's a wait for the patio". We stopped another person and explained we would sit inside. She gave us menus and said, "there is no hostess - I don't know why they don't explain that to youâ¦" We seated ourselves and then had to ask again to be served. Only 2 things save this review : 1 the pizza was awesome and 2 the kitchen staff actually came out to acknowledge and assure us that the gluten free pizza I ordered was being handled properly-no cross contamination! Hope this helps someone!

Nice restaurant, it has two areas, one which is self order and cafeteria style. The other section is a full service restaurant with a full bar. The wait staff was very attentive, courteous and aimed to please!Our waiter was great and made our night enjoyable!The food was delicious, My husband and I split the spaghetti and meat balls. Delicious but the meat balls are quite spicy! One friend ordered a personal pizza and said it was outstanding. Another ordered the salmon sandwich which came with potato chips, the salmon was perfectly cooked. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if youâre in Berkeley, Michigan.
