I've been frequenting Caminettos from the late nineties when they were still a little shop on the Street. They've grown from strength to strength, opening various stores and expanding into new brands. They remain a strong favourite amongst Durbanites (despite the long weekend waits) for good reason. The food is always a treat and their traditional wood fired pizza are the stuff of legends. You'll have to wait for it at times, mostly peak times over weekends, since there's only a limited capacity in the ovens. But despite many grumpy patrons the food is well worth the wait.Their new kids area (planet purple) really sets them apart from the rest eateries in the area although i think they could very much more by integrating the food services.Like I said the thin based pizza's are top notch, especially the focaccia, which is unlike I've had anywhere else. You must try the salami Alfredo with linguini, just beautiful creamy goodness. One of firm favourites, if you can get ahead of the queues. The service is much improved in recent times although there a lot of room for improvement.

We went to Lupa to celebrate my birthday. As always the owners were most welcoming and waiters attentive. Yes, you pay a little more but then you are getting much more. I had the langoustine pasta, and others the peppered fillet. Great taste and good portions. Can't wait for our next visit always a good vibe and atmosphere. Thank you so much for your feedback we really appreciate it and it means a lot - I will certainly pass it on to our team - and keep doing what we enjoy doing.

Had lunch with family today. I ordered a anti pasti for one. It had a number of different options however it was tasteless and out of a bottle that is on the lower end of catering. The coffee was to hot and flat. The service was great.

Origano Glenwood offering authentic Italian cuisine. Our menu comprises of thin base wood fired pizza`s, a great variety of pasta and Grills.
We visited Origano for their pizza and pasta special (on Mondays and Tuesdays). We were a party of 6, including young adults, our parents and a toddler. Our meals were fresh, well-prepared and really tasty! The highlight however, was definitely the service. Our waiter, Mandla and the rest of the waiting staff were incredibly warm, welcoming and extremely attentive. Their interactions with our entire table - especially the kids - was really above and beyond. Will definitely be back! Thank you for the excellent review, we will make sure Mandla is rewarded for taking such awesome care of you.

This legendary exclusive revolving restaurant was officially opened in February 1973. The Roma was born from a concept pioneered by Bartholoeo Ribero, Turi and Gino Leopardi. Now proudly owned by the Reelin Group and managed by the Leopardi brothers. We a
My wife took me out to a surprise destination. Driving there I got a very suspect feeling. Walking towards the restaurant I was actually thinking she is off her mind! We arrived in a hallway so beautifully designed like we were in Italy. The lift took us to the 32 floor in one shot and we entered what was nothing short of spectacular! Roma the revolving restaurant! Reception, drinks and food suggestions were superb. We were completely delighted with our choice of chowders, fish and lamb mains. So rich that we could not think of the desserts so beautifully presented on the trolley. We definitely revolved around Durban with spectacular views and fine dining to boot! The bill was a pleasure when you take into account the divine food, excellent service. Old time Italy appeal, vibe and of course the revolving. Hats off guys! Happy to find something authentic and not franchised.
