Purchased family salad, small Special...deep dish and small half cheese half pepperoni and sausage.Environment very nice, very busy! Waitress was okay, but not terribly attentive... but pleasant.For me, the flavors were bland and not aggregate, seemed each ingredient was unrelated to the sum of the finished product. Like eating layers of separate ingredients. Crust was biggest disappointment... very bland, texture hard, not soft or chewy, flavorless. Presentation was wonderful, just didn't live up to expectations. Probably would never return... however, I must be alone in my feelings as the restaurant was full with people waiting to get in.

There are some things that should be on every visitors âbucket listâ when it comes to regional fare. Their deep dish pizza, local brews and family style dishes are what itâs all about when it comes to pizza pie in the Windy City. You gotta try it.

This place in rosemont /des plaines area doesnât have the full menu like the other downtown flagships . However, it has a nice patio area, beautiful massive bar and then a formal eat in as well. My wife ordered a pasta dish she loved and I ordered the pork chop. Yes, the pork chop was small compared to other places but I ordered it medium and it was the juiciest and best tasting chop Iâve ever had . All sides are a la carte. Not extremely memorable pizza or other dishes. Chicken Parmesan was bland, lacking any hint of pride or flavor. But it wasn't inedible so there's that I guess. Pizza was exactly the same: nothing stood out but it was sustenance that treated our hunger. Essentially Tomato's is the definition of "eh".

Host was friendly. But that was the highlight. Checked my suitcase (came straight from airport) but when I was leaving the closet door was open and no one was watching over it. Food was below average. Had the âspecialâ of risotto with sliced filet mignon which was basically cut up well done small pieces of meat mixed in with rice. Colleague said swordfish was dry as a bone. We had a separate room and restaurant was accommodating but the food really needs work.Dear Colafina,Thank you for your feedback. It's so hard to find a great Italian sub in the suburbs. I don't want to go to any of those chain places. I just want a great tasting simple Italian sub on fresh bread. And thankfully, I can go to Asti and get that. There are plenty of place in the city to get them, but very few in the burbs. So, if you get a chance, you can stop here and get one!

I stopped at Mario's Deli for an early lunch. It is everything that you could want in a deli. I ordered a specific breakfast sandwich and they had no trouble making it, even though it was not on the menu. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The prices are reasonable.

What a cute place ! I've had the margherita pizza at a friends house ( delicious ) tonight 3 of us met for dinner We each had the Bella Italia martini ( very good ) a side salad and ordered spaghetti Di Maria and Sicilian pizza to share ! The pasta was so tasty and fresh tasting and the pizza was perfect !Kathy was our server - what a doll ! Friendly and so very sweet
