Risto-pub birreria
I was there last Saturday and I really appreciated the atmosphere, the food and the beer! I could suggest the greek pita (it's a good Italian adaptation of the original one), and also the apetizers are very good! I recomend to make a reservation before visiting, otherwise you could have to wait a bit before getting in!Very good!

This restaurant is well hidden in a side alley of the main street of Benevento (Corso Garibaldi): only those who know that it exists could find it (but we knew....). It was a pleasant surprise, in many senses. First, of course, the food. The menu features dishes prepared almost exclusively with local produce, and cooked with skill and original (but not extravagant) recipes. That at least is what we could experience with delicious dishes that we ordered: spaghetti "Vucciria" (tomato and a blend of spices), "Troccoli" (spaghetti with square section) shepherd style, ie with sausage and ricotta cheese; pie of wild vegetables; pork with almonds and chestnut honey. All accompanied by a glass of local wine "Aglianico". Very fair price in relation to quality: 48 ⬠for two people. Every recipe has been kindly illustrated by Debora, who manages the property with Marco; and who appeared to us - through her fascinating conversation - to be very committed to enhancing (not only with food) the culture of her city and of the territory. In short, it was an experience truly out of the ordinary: I recommend it without any doubt.

Located in the heart of the historic center, 200 meters from the Roman theater and Traiano arch, a few steps from the Duomo "HAITI" born in 1965 as a bakery & ice cream later expanding the surface to 300 square meters. Current giving way to create you the
After wandering the city of Benevento, we stumbled onto this spot. At first it looks like only a bakery but once you enter and go down the steps you are in a quaint restaurant. The owner of the establishment was very pleasant and brought us fresh baked bread. We ordered two excellent salads and shared a main course of fruitta de mare. Everything was fresh and freshly made. It was just a nice place to go to lunch.

We went to experience pizza from Italy for the first time. It was excellent, and the best pizza we had during our two week visit. We sat in the outdoor courtyard and the experience was wonderful.

We arrived on a rainy day for lunch and were welcomed with great warmth. The setting is much more elegant than we had imagined and yet also comfortable and welcoming. The lunch menu was extensive with a great choices a la carte as well as set course menus. We enjoyed a wonderful glass of white local wine and amazing creative appetizers - fresh anchovies in a wonderful combination with a smooth creamy cheese combination (may not sound great, but was amazing) along with great pastas. The menu is both traditional and also innovative. Service was outstanding and considerate as we communicated through a mixture of Italian, English and Spanish. Would return again and highly recommend

Our host Antonio was exemplary and looked after us as kings. The food was to die for. Everything is prepared from their own ingredients made or grown in the familyThe ragu papadelle was outstanding - how can I explain? This was like the best food Nonna or Zia ever made for you. Maybe I had too much wine - but this was Home made too and was divine The perfect cantina last lunch - I will be back! If I could le give you 6 stars I would. Thank you Antonio - it wasnât just lunch, it was an experience!

We were starving during our drive from Rome to Matera and happened across this jewel of a restaurant. From the time we were seated until the check arrived we were treated like family. Our waitress continued bringing plate after plate of food just for us to try. The cook even came from the kitchen to say hello after we finished. This was our second trip to Italy and I can honestly say that this was one of our favorite meals during our time there. The food was incredible but the hospitality was even better. The vibe is similar to sitting down for lunch at your grandmother's house. Don't go here expecting a fine dining experience but if you're looking for excellent food and stellar service don't miss Osteria la Cucina di Anna.
