We ate here three times. First we ordered Frutti de mare pizza and grill plate. The pizza was tasty, fresh, baked in wood-fired oven. The grill plate was also great: there were several meats, all of it was well-baked and tasty. Next time we ate grilled seafood: octopus and calimari. They were tasty and fresh, really liked it! Third time we both ate pizza. Every time, when we asked for the bill, we got a gift sort drink: fig schnaps. It was a nice gesture and also it was a great drink! The service was also nice, we were asked if everything is ok and were kind and thoughtful.

The oldest, traditional restaurant in Baska. Serving mediterranean and italian food since 1911. Beautiful view on sea, beach and Velebit,largest Croatian mountain, across. Home of many romantic evenings with candles and sounds of waves with music. Enjoy!

We like the restaurant because od the atmosphere made by friendly and helpful waiters, good food and beautiful seaview from the terrace. But - what is the most important to us - although the place is not gluten-free, we always get a safe meal for our daughter who is a coeliac. The waiter always asks the cook in detail what is in the meal and brings us something (yesterday our daughter ate a grilled chicken with rice and boiled vegetables). We highly recommend the restaurant.

We were at Maretta at the end of October, when most of other restaurants were closed. Waiter was very kind, prices are reasonable, home wine is good. We ate calamari, made on grill are even better than fried. No complaints, very good.

We had a drop-by dinner while walking in Baska downtown. We were attracted by the old-fashioned look and actually the place is well fitted with lovely, little old things (framed pictures, old mugs, musical instruments and any sort of antiquities), giving a warm, old times look.Other than the look, they serve cold dishes: cold cuts, cheese assortment, fish snacks (don;t miss the fish pate' or the marinated anchovies), with warm bread and vegetables. Overall, the food quality is ok, the owner kind and nice and prices are more than reasonable: 2 beers + 1 assorted cold cuts plate for the equivalent of about 12 euros; a must-see place in Baska

Found this place from Tripadvisor. We had no high expectations because of the previous reviews. We ordered ribs, tacos and quesadillas and they were ok. Price level is extremely low, for example one beer is 12kn. The place is growded on any times but the service is super friendly! Nice place to eat lunch and get few drinks but would choose some other place for dinner. Would recommend their pancakes though!

The welcome on arrival was so friendly and informative, and we were shown to the most wonderful rooms.The staff throughout were very good and catered to our needs superbly.The whole place is laid out really well, and is very modern and well decorated. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable.There is plenty of choice on the menu, and enjoyed every meal we had; they are even happy to prepare something for breakfast that is not readily available, all you have to do is ask.I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Forza and is somewhere I would definitely visit again.

We had a very tasty lunch here, ribs, pizza, etc. Everything was good, delicious, but at the end, the price was quite high. I know, we are close to the sea, restaurant is perfect, but didn't expet that much. 3 dishes + 4 drinks - 60 euros. This is not an complain, just want to bring it up for people that are going to visit this restaurant. Staff was very friendly, waiter helped with the menu, was patient to the kids. We wend areounf in the evening time and the restaurant was so full, there was a queue outside as well. This means that this restaurant is really good. Thanks for the great food.
