We came for breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was no problem. I enjoyed my egg and goat cheese with fruit salad. My boyfriend's breakfast of eggs bacon and fruit salad was good too. Unfortunately dinner our server kept disappearing. Our food was good. But the wait for our server made our experience bad. Thank you for the review and kind words. We are thrilled you enjoyed your breakfast and dinner meals at Pacini. Sorry about the lack of service which made your second dining experience a bad one with us. We would never want any of our guests to feel forgotten about and I am sorry the service staff kept disappearing on you. It isn't normal practice and we will follow up further. I hope you can accept our apologies and decide to try us again.

The Terrace is excited and proud to present it's transformation into La Terrazza. Our new menu offers freshly prepared authentic Italian cuisine in the heart of downtown Banff.
We do not often use the restaurants of hotels we stay in particulasrly if they are predomonently tourist hotels but La Terrazza looked a little different. It had an interesting menu, a spacious layout and comfortable looking chairs. We were not dissapointed the service and meal were excellent and above all the house wines (Both the red - Sangiovese and white - Pinot Grigio) were real value for money.Thank you so much for choosing to dine with us! We are so happy you enjoyed your meals as well as the service and ambiance. We are so happy you enjoyed our house wines and that they paired nicely with your meals. We hope to see you again in the future.

When in Banff it's mandatory to rediscover the taste for la dolce vita! What can be more mouth-watering than enjoying the rich and diverse flavours of modern Italian cuisine? From tempting appetizers and hand-made pasta Castello Italiana will have you pla
Make a reservation before arriving at Castello located at the Fairmont Banff Springs. I had made a reservation but they accidentally gave it to someone else with the same surname. They did make it right by seating us on a Saturday night. The service was excellent, the food was delicious especially the rosemary bread. My only compliant is that I ordered the Lobster ravioli and when they served it, it was simply two tiny pieces of lobster on top of ravioli (filled with peas) and topped with crispy bacon for $44, bread and a coke, plus tax and tip, came to a total of $70. A bit overpriced in my opinion even for a rare treat. Parking was $11 per hour.Dear Valued Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. I am sorry to hear of the mix up with your reservation but am happy to hear that we were able to accommodate you. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your time in Banff.Warm regards,Jeffrey C.Food and Beverage Manager

Our Trafalgar group had our farewell dinner here. The food was excellent. Cheese fondue was the appetizer. I ordered the chicken breast, which was very good and came with mashed potatoes and vegetables. The steaks, salmon, duck, all looked good too. Nice cozy atmosphere. Gluten free options available too.

Banff's best dining value. All meals include hot bread, soup or salad, ice cream and coffee/tea at no additional charge.
Nothing over special but food quite edible and it was good value. A little unhappy as they brought our mains when we were still eating starters so we sent them back as pasta soon goes cold. Seemed strange they should do that but the wait staff didn't like that we did that and made it obvious by ignoring us as much as possible after that. Shame really as it spoiled it for us uneccessarily

We celebrated our anniversary by staying two nights at the Rimrock Resort Hotel. Our anniversary supper was held in the Primrose Room. It was a fine dining experience, we felt pampered and it was a very enjoyable evening. We had requested a table by the windows and that request was accommodated. The beef tenderloin was quite possibly the best we ever have had and the second meal was the baked salmon (also very good). Don't pass up on the Banana Creme Brulee for dessert.
