I don't want to build up your expectations. This is not a five star Michelin restaurant. It is classic Italian, red & white tablecloths, Mafia looking owner, fantastic pasta and has great service. It doesn't look like much when you walk through the doors. But when the guests begin to stroll in for lunch and are greeted by the friendly owner and exceptional staff, the place begins to come alive. Expect nothing and you will be blown away.

We had a lovely meal here on our way back from Palermo to Cefalu. We had come off the Autostrada to visit Solunto and needed somewhere to eat afterwards. The car park outide was busy which suggested the locals ate here and they did. The food was home cooked and excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful and the prices were good.

We spent a fantastic dinner time. This is an absolute nugget (in Germay we call it: "Kleinod").Very typical awesome sicilian food (pls. taste the coteletta majale), mama in the kitchen, son running the service, wonderful atmosphere and a illumination like in an operating room :-) generates an unique feeling.Clear recommendation...

Search for the Arab and Norman traditions in contemporary Sicilian cuisine. Research, where possible, of the products of the land and the sea at km0. Pizzas with dough of flour of ancient grains. New structure for an activity with a strong social impact,
My husband and I were visiting from Boston, Massachusetts with friends from Dallas, Texas. We had a friend at home (from Sicily) who recommended this wonderful restaurant. It went beyond our expectations. The owner, Massimo, and the entire staff were so welcoming and helpful.... we donât speak Italian! Everything from the amazing fried potatoes, pizza, pastas dishes, wine and dessert were delicious. If we lived locally, this would certainly be our âgo toâ restaurant. We highly recommend it.

Bravi e continuate a stupirci.

This restaurant across the street from the Museo Gattuso is a wonderful find. While the amount of English spoken by the staff is minimal, one can do fine just by trusting them. Spaghetti with clams was simple but well prepared with very sweet clams. The spaghetti with homemade sausage was perfect. Merely asking for an appetizer "caldo" brought a wonderful array of treats.

Fratelli Piombino Ristoratori is a sicilian restaurant, where you can try typical sicilian dishes with a special international touch. You will find amazing pizza, good wine list and craft beer, the waiters speak good english. We are open every day for dinne
We ate at this restaurant twice during our stay in a nearby hotel. Bagheria was a lovely town to watch the locals on their evening stroll and check out the great shops before eating at this restaurant. The pizza here (huge selection) was fantastic especially the pizza menu where all the ingredients are Sicilian. Most restaurants charge a cover charge per person which only usually covers bread however this restaurant gives you half a glass of prosecco and some kind of small taster - one night we were given hand cooked crisps and the other an amuse bouche. We shared the local mixed and vegetarian antipasti platters which were divine and on the next visit the seafood platter which was huge. My husband ate the same Diavola pizza as a main on both visits because he loved it so much. I had the most delicious pasta with aubergine, nuts, tomato and local cheese flakes. The menu is in Italian (good sign) but the waiter was so helpful and translated anything we needed him to. This place is great. Just go!

We enjoyed a family reunion here (a seating of 13) with only a few hours advance notice - feeling lucky as the experience is akin to establishments that require reserving months in advance. The staff is extraordinarily friendly, accommodating, and professional - managing a large multi-lingual party amidst the more intimate tables of 2 to 4 with flawless grace and attentiveness. Every detail was considered (for example when we ordered a variety of wines - from an excellent list of local and imported wines) to suit the tastes and selections of our guests, the server discreetly asked if they should provide a sampling of each wine to each guest or a dingle pour of their own choosing). The food was spectacular in concept, preparation and presentation. And the flavors, textures, and aromas left memorable impressions of pleasure to the eye and the palate. The âriccordo di sfinciobeâ are reminiscent of Palermo street food: after enjoying the presentation (each morsel presented on an edible fried spaghetti stick) it is best to close your eyes as you savor the impressions on the palate. The cassata - in a delicate clear globe of sugar - was magnificent.Cannot recommend more highly - worth a drive to Bagheria from anywhere in Sicily!

We landed in Santa FileValiva for a few nights of relaxation. Out and about we found the restaurant with ample parking out front. Up the stairs to the 2nd floor we sat outside at a lovely table. Very nice bottle of wine to start with great appetizers along side. The waiter and staff made it a perfect 1st night.

The dishes are the real protagonists of our restaurant, but so is everything else, such as the location, the environment, hospitality and service. The well-being of our "GUESTS" will be our priority so that you can better enjoy this exciting unique dining
Worryingly we were the first to arrive but the welcome was warm and others followed quickly. Not that easy to find just the name on the glass over the door. It is in Via Quattro Aprile. Don't be put off because it is such a find. Food exceptional and service brilliant. Best we tried on Palermo. Interesting Amuse Bouche with a glass of sparkling. Octopus and Brill to follow. Delicious would not hesitate to go back.
