We had a ball, upstairs by the front windows. Brea, our hostess was great. The food was great. The portions were huge, and everything was tasty. I challenge you to eat and finish a whole small Stromboli, yourself....and we had food to take home for the next day.Four people, $51.00 before the tip.

If you're looking for the best Italian restaurant around this area Palermo's is the place to go. Their Eggplant Parmesan is delicious and so are the fresh hot rolls. We usually go on a weekend and although It's a busy place the wait is never very long as there's a steady flow of customers coming in and going out. The wait staff has always been friendly and efficient. Others we've been with have never been disappointed and neither have we.

We were in town to visit Kowalonek's Kielbasy Shop, and decided on lunch. Based on the reviews we picked Francesco's. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Between us we had a salad, chicken parm sandwich,Italian sausage sandwich. Italian sub and fries. Nice stop, good service, reasonably priced

Stopped here for a late lunch when passing through on a recent road trip. Nothing fancy here but a nice assortment of Italian style comfort foods on the menu. They also have the usual lineup of popular appetizers. We started with zucchini fries and buffalo wings, both were outstanding!! Greatly exceeded our expectations, we were off to a very good start. Our party ordered an assortment of entrees: pork cacciatore, egg/pepper/cheese sub, chef salad, chicken parmigiana sub and a cheesesteak sub. These all ranged from very good to excellent. Service was friendly and efficient, prices are very reasonable.

We stopped at Anthony's while driving to New York when we saw it on Trip Advisor. We were hungry and did not want fast food. It was nice to be able to get a slice of good pizza without having to order a whole pie. My daughter even wanted a second slice. My husband was able to get his pepperoni and me my cheese...I liked that the pizza was not over sauced. Looks like the have many other Italian dishes beyond pizza to. Overall good tasty pit stop!

The food here is always superb. Their house Italian salad dressing is made in house, unique, and the best dressing anywhere. Though their house balsamic dressing is also excellent. We had four meals and all were cooked to perfection, greatly portioned, and excellent flavor. Service was great as well. You just cannot beat OIP in Frackville for excellence all around.
This restaurant is located on Oak Street in downtown Mt Carmel. Parking is usually ok on Oak Street. The food is very, very good, with all of your favorite Italian dishes available, from pizza to full dinners. I eat here often and it's usually pretty fast. Service is mostly good and always pleasant. It's inside an old eatery (Langises), so it has a nice homey feel. Good food at reasonable prices.

The atmosphere is quaint - typical of small Italian restaurants in the area. It was crowded on a Wednesday evening with several large groups (8 - 10 pleople) which resulted in it being rather loud. The food was OK. My steak sandwich tasted good but the bread was very dry. Even the bread in the basket the server brought when we sat down was rather dry.The service was OK until the end when we waited about 15 minutes after getting the bill and the server was nowhere to be seen. So we left the money on the table and left.
The Pasta House has some of the best food in town below 9th Street. From their popular sweet sauce pizza and huge cheese steaks and other hoagies, small or large variety salads to varied seafood, macaroni and cheese or pasta dinners you can't go wrong with stopping here for made to order take out or sitting back in a quiet setting to enjoy a leisure dinner. Wing night that includes at least a dozen or more sauce choices and other specials continuously updated is popular with the younger crowds. The menu is varied, the staff courteous, premises clean. Take out is available by calling ahead or walk in. Wait time as expected and they can get busy. Alcohol is an option with proper ID among coffee, tea, soda, water, other beverages. There are several small dining areas set up and counter space with TV where take out is ordered. Parking on Centre and side streets may be metered, changing with seasons. Not sure if they have 15 minute parking for orders placed. They're supportive of the community. This establishment was formally Devito's Italian, formerly Cesari's Pizza before that, both previously well known locally. Best to call ahead for more information on their hours, specials, other preferred arrangements. Prices vary depending on order.
