A stylish European restaurant and Wine Bar situated in the heart of the city.. Sydney Established 18 years with many regular diners Trading breakfast lunch and dinner with drinks, a long list of wines by the glass and classic cocktails
Lunched on back-to-back afternoons with business associates. Extensive menu complemented by specials (although they were the same both days, I think). I enjoyed the pasta both days, the ravioli one day and the papardelle the next. Really good wine selections. Very attentive staff. Across the street from Hyde Park, next to the Sheraton Hotel.

Pizza Autentico Offers a unique dining experience to Sydney's Surry Hills. Take a seat at the Communal table and enjoy a selection of pizza and pasta served fresh from the oven by friendly waitstaff. For only $25 you can enjoy a relaxed dining experience
I stayed in the area and got pizza and a salad to go a couple of times. Both were delicious. Portions were bigger than expected. I would recommend.

A Tavola was established in 2007 in buzzing Darlinghurst on Victoria Street by chef owner Eugenio Maiale. A Tavola quickly earnt a reputation of being one of Sydney's best places to go for authentic Italian pasta. The long marble table is filled with loya
A Tavola was recommended to us by friends who constantly dine here. Gorgeous establishment with lovely ambience. Service was faultless and very attentive. As soon as we were seated at the long marble communal table a plate of warm bread with olive oil and chilli was placed in front of us whilst we ordered our wine. For starters we got the natural oysters with aperol granita. Mains we shared the pappardelle con ragu and spaghetti alle cozze which both were absolutely amazing. I'm not much of a dessert eater however we shared the Cremino (again which was recommended) and it did not disappoint. Possibly the tastiest Italian food I have eaten ever! It was our first visit but definitely won't be our last. Do yourself a favour and get yourself here!.

Had dinner here on a Monday night ... restaurant was almost empty so lacked ambience and decor needs some updating as a bit dated. Had a wagyu rump ... was good but not memorable. Service was attentive as you would expect for a quiet night. Overall itâs OK but is in need of something to make it memorable. Respectable prices though. Not bad, not great ... average.

The best Italian restaurant in Sydney. Delicious handmade ravioli, generous and tasty portions of pasta. Pizza is like the one you eat in Naples, if not better. The chef is an Artist. Excelent service and friendly and helpful staff, if you could give more stars I would give it, go to Pizza Boccone and you'll come back for sure. Thank you!

An Italian Osteria offering a selection of antipasto, spuntini and home made pasta. Weekly specials include - Monday's pasta e vino $20, Tuesday's braise e barbera $25, Wednesday's spit roast e sangiovese $25 and weekend lunch special of pasta e vino $20
I had dinner here last night to coincide with their new menu with one of my closest friends. We have both been coming here for a few years and consider it to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. Again last night we were impressed with everything from the friendly service right through to the cocktails to the delicious food and wines. It is truly rare for a restaurant to consistently deliver day-in-day-out, week-in-week-out month after month. A strong traditional Italian menu with daily specials. Baccomatto Osteria is one of these restaurants and you will be impressed. Strongly advise making a booking from mid week through to the weekends.

Very much looking forward to this after doing some research. Did the degustation menu which is good value at $155 for Sydney. The first three tasters were porcini crackers, nut tart and egg, porcini and tart were excellent. Next a crab and macadamia dish, very smart. The Aguachile was one of my favorites, tuna and beetroot, amazing presentation, textures and flavors. The meat agnolotti was my least favorite dish, quite oily/greasy. Hapuka was good and the lamb similar but loved the baby turnips as the side. The two desserts were stunning, would rate the White chocolate and sudachi a little ahead of the buffalo. There is value to be found on the wine list. We had a entry level chablis. The chef was on holiday but the kitchen was coping well. Friendly service from staff. The 4/5 rating is because I was a little underwhelmed as a few courses did not live up to my expectation. But certainly very good value for Sydney.

Based on high TA ratings we pre-booked this small but popular caffe for an early dinner. Our food choices were well cooked traditional pasta and meat dishes and the support of locals was obvious, including take-away service. By Sydney pricing standards the food was very good value and overall we had a very good experience.
