We have been here many times with friends and the experience never disappoints.We ordered garlic bread and prawn crepes for starters with a lovely red wine. Then lasagne and cannelloni main courses - piping hot and good portion sizes. Finished off with flambé ice cream crepes which are cooked at the table.Brilliant evening in lovely family feel restaurant

We have been to Armacao de Pera many times and never eaten here mainly because we like to eat fish, but decided on our last day to come here for lunch.I had the smaller portion of spaghetti bolognese,with garlic bread and my husband had a small pizza,we also ordered a tomato and onion salad which was really well presented .The pizza is more deep pan ,which generally we don't eat but this pizza dough is light and really it was delicious.I cannot fault the food,all of it was really tasty,hot and served nicely.The waitress was really friendly and helpful.The house white wine was also very good , a much better quality wine than you often get given to you and with the same price tag.Overall great and when we go back to Armacao in October we will definitely revisit.

Headed here for a meal on the last night of our holiday. Meal was really nice although my wife didn't care for her lasagna. Staff were really attentive and on the ball. Would I go back? The pizzas here are fine. The wood fired oven ensures the bases are light and crispy and there is a good selection to choose from. They are quite small but just about worth the money. Whilst nothing to rave about, they were standard fare.The service here is quite another matter. The male waiters were, in the main, unpleasant and unwelcoming. Raised eyebrows and shared sideways looks were the order of the day. It was almost a masterclass in how not to treat your customers. Very busy restaurant but not one weâll return to.

Excellent food - started with Bruschetta to share and then really good main courses of Calzone and Quattro Stagioni. Desserts of Zabaglione and chocolate mousse - both delicious. Staff were attentive but not overpowering. Really nice setting and well worth a visit

We took our Canadian friends here last week for pizza. We live in Armacao and although this place had been recommended to us a few times before we had never gone. When we arrived we were immediately warmly welcomed by the terrific Fabio who seated us and was happy to answer any questions we had. Towards the end of the meal the owners mother introduced herself and although she didn't speak a lot of English she was very endearing and also made us feel at home. We ordered the garlic bread to start which was devine and just the correct amount followed by a half and half pizza which was delicious and definitely the best in town. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant at any time. We met the owner before leaving and he was a very humble and likeable guy who deserves your custom for his brilliant food and lovely staff. We will definitely be back regularly.Joanne and Bob

We had a late dinner here last night and it was excellent. I had the spaghetti, the local soup, salad and excellent bread. My better half had seafood risotto which was delicious. Our server Mary was excellent, charming and very helpful in giving us some advice on the areasâ tourist attractions namely different beaches.We will be going back in a day or two.Great value for your money.

This was my favourite restaurant in Armacao however things have changed dramatically. The menu is completely different and the standard of food is way below the previous high standards. I had the mushroom risotto which was average at best. This was a great restaurant but sadly I wonât be going back.
