Party of 3 on a weekday night. Place was full but we were seated promptly. First thing you notice is the noise. Everyone talking loudly but donât let this stop you from eating here. The food is very good. The portions are large. The service is good. The prices are very reasonable.

We are a Slyce of NYC in Westchester County! The former Ardsley Pizza has expanded and rebranded. With a new selection of nine draft beers and a wine cuvenee system, we offer artisan pies and traditional NY style pizza. Our old world menu has been infused
We live just a few minutes away from Slyce and are so happy with this neighborhood gem! We have eaten at the restaurant as well as ordering take-out from there many times and have never been disappointed. We are fans of the meat lovers pie and the grandma's Sicilian pie but when we have tried the artisan pies, they are always delicious. They have a few on the menu as well as monthly specials. Definitely try the monthly special! We most recently tried the porky fig and it was our favorite ever. They have a small selection of pastas and salads which we also love. The arugula/strawberry salad is especially delicious. They also have a great selection of wine (by the glass or bottle) as well as local beers. Love this place!

Had dinner at this old italian restaurant staple in Dobbs Ferry. It was worth it. The food was brought out hot and ready to eat.Everything we had was excellent and we would easily go back.I must say the ambiance could use a major overhaul. The italian cheese cake was the best for desert/oh yes, one more thing- clams casino was made with too much breading and not enough garlic or clams.

Every town should have a go to place for great pizza and good Italian food. The selection is overwhelming, but they have all your typical Italian favorites. We were there for lunch and ordered pizza, pasta, chicken, and veal dishes. The teens wanted pizza, so we had one pie too. All the portions were huge, but the food was just average. There were no standouts or anything off the charts delicious. The vibe is very family friendly and the service was very good. We don't live in the area and probably won't return, but if you do live nearby it is worth giving it a shot.

My mother in law always picks The Cookery for our brunch with her after the New Year. We are always seated at the same table, even without asking, and now we refer to it as our table. The brunch menu is mostly the same, but with so many great dishes to choose from we are fine with it. We all mixed it up this time, except for my husband who always orders the shredded pig. My crostini with ricotta was moist, flavorful, and if I did not know what was coming next, I would have asked for more! I had the seafood special of the day, which were delicious scallops with broccoli rabe and a sauce that I was not crazy about, but I was easily able to push it to the side. The dessert was amazing, both the sticksbutta pie and the chocolate polenta. One thing different was that the other times we were there for brunch the chef sent out plates of items we had not ordered or little treats. This time we only received one plate of yummy muffins and scones, but we were offered seconds on dessert (too full to say yes). The service has been consistently great and we cannot wait to try the owners new British Gastro Pub on Cedar Street. One criticism is that the music is always way too loud for us, but maybe it is just bothersome to us at our stage in life.

There's no reason this restaurant can't be 5 songs but it's not. At least not yet. I'll start with the positives. Their hosses are outstanding, brussel sprouts and can't with mushrooms is really excellent. And they actually have a tasty shop that makes amazing desserts that aren't your typical restaurant dessert offerings. So what are they missing? I expect outstanding bread and deep beautiful extra Virgin Olive oil at A 5 star restaurant. octopus appetizer was tasty but they added celery to make the excessively small portion seem adequate. they have what it takes to be great but a few corrections are needed

Welcome to Piccola Trattoria! We are proud to be a 2015 Best of Westchester Winner and have received great reviews by the media, including The New York Times! Piccola Trattoria is a great place to spend quality time over delicious and authentic Italian cu
Friends, devoted fans of Piccola and "foodies" in their own right, suggested we dine together at this tiny destination restaurant and we were wowed! Small, yes...but big on flavors--and portions as well. You will not go home hungry, Wonderful and intimate atmosphere, with a warm welcome at the door--you're immediately "family". Attentive but unobtrusive wait staff, very professional. Kudos to Chef Sergio and his lovely wife, every aspect of your dining experience is finely tuned. Nice selection of wines to please any budget. Highly recommend the calamari pepe and baked meatball appetizers (latter is easily shared). Standout entrees included paccheri bolognese and a butterflied, pounded pork chop, both off the charts. All four of us were sadly too stuffed for dessert, but adjacent tables had diners swooning over several delightful looking offerings. Piccola goes far beyond your typical Italian red sauce venue with thoughtfully prepared taste sensations, it will not disappoint. Go! Enjoy! D. Slater, New City

Yes, the food and service were very good and reasonably priced for the quality and service. However, a big disappointment was there was no lunch menu although it was lunch time. On La Catena's website it shows the lunch menu for the weekends, so an explanation should have been offered as to only offering a dinner menu. The restaurant is attractive and there is ample parking in the strip mall's parking lot.

It's a small neighborhood restaurant family run with amazing food and great service! The pizza is incredible if that's all you want. The food is fresh and delicious! They serve homemade rolls that come right out of the oven. The salads are very generous as well as the plates of food. They only serve beer and wine along with soda. It's a must try. I almost regret writing this review cause I've never waited for a table :), but they deserve the recognition. The special appetizer almond crusted Shrimp in a chili aioli sauce was yummy! I forgot to take a picture of our pasta dishes, it was papadella with mushrooms and fresh mozzarella and I had gnocchi in a five cheese sauce. Absolutely delicious!!!! A must go to!!! Small but amazing!

We have been to Scaramellaâs many times over many years. Quite simply, itâs the finest Italian restaurant you will find in Westchester. Until recently the restaurant was owned and run by the magnificent chef Vinnie and his wife Nilda Scaramella. The new owner, Sal, was smart enough to keep the fantastic waiters and cooks. The menu has a wonderful variety of pastas, meats and fish. My favorite is the veal francese. My husband loves the eggplant Parmesan The soups are mouthwatering. There are a variety of excellent salads. I recommend the tri colore. Also the Osso Bucco is a treat. If you have any room for dessert there are delicious Italian cheesecakes, cannolis tiramisu and plenty more. The glass of wine you request is a big generous glass. For a fantastic meal and outstanding service, go to Scaramellaâs !!!
