I went here for lunch. They have a day menu with the 1st course for 5 Euro and 2nd course with side dish for 7.50. Food was decent and portion was not small. I wanted to get a pizza, but unfortunately it is available only in the evening. Restaurant has fine selection of deserts.

Great restaurant set in a quaint village we came across on the way back to pienza from saturnia. The manager and chef were very friendly, good honest people, the house wine was delicious, the tiramisu and pannacotta to die for and just 3 euros! The mushroom and ham pizza was so good we had to order another one! Definitely no tourist trap!Thank you so much for your review. We chose for our costumers a short menu in order to provide an high food's quality.

Had the talgietta with fresh truffles and my husband had the sausage with white beans for lunch. Excellent all around. House wine was delicious and when my husband spilled his glass on the floor they brought a whole new carafe. Another lovely family owned/run spot in Arcidosso. Wonderful!

Have already been there a few times. Food was fantastic as usual. We ate some ravioli with black truffle, artichokes and meat. The feedback across the table was unanimous: the quality of the ingredients is top notch and the artistic hands of Laura and Sergio completes what we considered an unbeatable experience in this region.

The dishes -- antipasti, pastas, desserts -- made with pears from Monte Amiata are exceptional. Trust the wait person. Emphasis is on local food. Language for non-Italian speakers may be a small barrier but certainly not insurmountable. The Montecucco wine selected for our meal was as good as any you are likely to get in Montalcino. My tagliata was good but not exceptional.

A must go. A MUST!!!!! the food is just superb - all along the years - the pastas are delicate and light (all home made) the antipasti, crisp and fresh. The main courses (meats) are exquisite and different from the usual Tuscan dishes. the deserts are....wow1. Very good house wine and extended Tuscan wine selection. The service is fast and the owner will personally describe the menu to you. If you want to eat more than one meals, Aiuole has rooms....

In medieval Arcidosso. A few hundred meters from parking. Inside or outside dining for lunch or dinner. The food is regional and worth a good walk. Definitely call ahead for dinner. Sometimes you can walk in but don't be disappointed. Nice slideshow of Monte Amiata and the Val D'Orcia runs as a background. The photos were taken by the proprietor. The restaurant is family operated and relies on locally produced meats and vegetables.

This is it, amazing simple dishes with fresh local produce made with real care. Someone recommended this restaurant to us and we were not disappointed to the point of coming back two days later. The food was generously served and tasted amazing. In between the 3 of us we must have tried most of the fresh pastas. Tagliatelle with wild boar ragu, pici with mushroom and sausage, gnocchi with gorgonzola... all tasted really good but the gold medal were the tagliolini with fresh truffles...a delight! The meat was also really tasty, perfectly cooked and of very high quality. The house wine might be a tad more expensive than other places but it is an organic wine that unlike most places tasted good. You can tell the owner Carlo is a really passionate cook and a real character. The settings is also very nice and the relaxed attitude of the waiters made us feel at home. I highly recommend this restaurant. 5 stars.
