Generous portion sizes, friendly atmosphere. The vegetable soup was excellent, the tenderloin steak perfectly cooked but too chewy for what is supposed to be a filet cut. Good wine selection, staff were very accommodating and friendly.Dear Sir/Madam (@Dkot154)Thank you for taking time to review our food. We have taken note of your feedback on our steak and hope to do better for you next time. If you love wine, we are planning a wine dinner on 21st August (Wednesday) where 5 Italian wines are paired with 5 dishes. Had a hankering for pizza so we stopped in at Ciccio. Always a sure spot for good Italian food. Had a couple of Mojitos and some fresh bread to start, then a delicious pizza to share. Love the thin crust and the sauce is so flavorful. Grabbed a spot close to the street and enjoyed people watching while we ate. Good, responsive service. A good spot to eat on this restaurant filled street.

The location of this place is amazing, great views of KL and the twin towers with a very nice decor and top quality service form the staff. The food is very good, we had steak, lamb and tiramasu. But the highlight was the pasta starters which were some of the best pasta we had ever eaten. If only they had pasta as a main course dish!!!! Bottle of red and a cocktail in the next door bar made it a memorable night. Well done to Marini's on 57.Dear sunlotionforall,Greetings from The Mariniâs GroupThank you for your kind review, we are happy to hear that you thoroughly enjoyed your dining and our team members took great care of you throughout your visit.Thank you once again for choosing to dine with us and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Kuala LumpurKindest regards,Vèronique ArnaudGuest Relations Officer

Perhaps normally the name says it all - but in this case, the name is the reverse.Sassorosso is a way of saying "sexy" in Italian and this Restaurant is far from that.It is obviously pitched to locals and most of the dishes are almost Italian but don't quite make it. The food is ordinary and without the flair expected from good Italian cuisine. The service is excellent but it does not make up for the high prices and ordinary food.Don't bother.Dear Auswiz,Thank you for your time writing this review. "Sassorosso" in Italian means "A Red Stone" and our restaurant is named after a painting by Pittore Peppe Butera that graces our main hall. It our restaurant's policy not to divide our distinguished guests into "locals" and "non-locals". We believe that if you are good it applies equally to anyone's respected taste and vice versa. This platform we believe is originated with an idea to assist its readers to make better informed choices. Hence, if you could possibly indicate which exactly dish and in what way was not up to your standard, we shall endevour to act upon your constructive comments deeper.Regards,Giovanni

Modern Sydney Dining and Bar located in the heart of KL. Shared plate dining with a small but vibrant wine list. Near the entertainment area called Changkat Bukit Bintang but nestled away in the lush green back street just behind Hotel Istana. A gem in th
Situated in a quiet street, you could walk past this place and not even notice it. The inside is dimly lit and the tables outside give no indication they belong to the restaurant. We found Drift only by a Google search but it was worth it. It was a short walk from our hotel on a pleasant summer's evening. We opted to sit outside which is OK as the street is quiet with relatively little traffic. Service was excellent and the waiter was attentive and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and offered a few suggestions. The kitchen is open and it is possible to watch the chefs at work. The food is original, well presented, perfect sized portions and tasted great. There is also an extensive wine list to choose from. if you are looking for something a little different then Drift is worth a visit. Highly recommended.

The newly renovated Mandarin Grill reopens with an Italian Grill concept. Overlooking KLCC Park, the restaurant offers an array of authentic Italian cuisine created by Chef de Cuisine Luigi Stinga who joins us from 2-Michelin star restaurant Seta in Manda
We booked here on a Friday evening after reading great reviews and we were not disappointed, we both chose the tasting menu but without the wine pairing, every course was superb and the service was also faultless, my personal favorite was the mushroom starter, so.light but with intense flavor which the chef when he came to our table said it takes days to make, if you are looking for a special occasion dinner this place is definitely the place to go.

Modest, Tasty and Cozy. This range makes eating a pure pleasure.
Ordered 150 days aged wagyu but chef came back and recommended 250 days aged for the same price. Cooked to perfection and offered complimentary dessert: truffle flavored! Overall, great experience, attentive service, and delicious house wine.

The restaurant is slightly hidden away from the main road - you need to go up some stairs and it is nestled amongst other restaurants there. It was a pleasant find though. They had a good selection in the menu. I was pleased with my main course - it was yummy although the portion was lesser than I had expected. The staff was very friendly. They have a full bar - so you order various cocktails and not just wines. They are especially proud of their homemade limoncello. I had a shot of it. It was good but I am not sophisticated enough on limoncello to know if this is better than the retail bottled versions. It is interesting though.Overall, I did enjoy the evening there.
