We arrived at exactly 8:00 on a Sunday. We had read online that they were open until 9 but were mistaken as they close at 8 on Sunday's. Fair enough, our mistake. However, they allowed us to stand in line behind someone else, then watched us reading the menu, then waited for us to order to tell us they close at 8. It wasn't even apologetically delivered. There was still food in the cases, why would they not want to sell that?I used to come here all the time with various family members but this experience did it for me; we will not be returning.

Broadlands Brick Oven makes a great pizza. They are close by, and with online ordering, it's easy to place an order and just drive over, no waiting for delivery. The crust is better than the competition, the pies are a bit bigger and the ingredients seem first rate. We order online and have never had them mess up the order. Definitely worth a stop.

Why my colleague recommended this place I will never understand. There was no table service and neither the food or drinks are particularly good. I ordered Stromboli but probably should have sent it back, as it had no flavor and the dough was not right. Not "puffy" and light but hard and crusty. The typical customers are families with young children. When I arrived there was not one table without a three year old sitting with them. I would characterize this as a family-friendly neighborhood pizza joint but definitely not a singles place.
Vocelli pizza is currently having a special for a large pizza with five toppings, and no other occasion was more appropriate to order one amid two and half feet of snow stubbornly parked in my neighborhood. We ordered chicken and veggie toppings along with breadsticks. Tonight's pizza was exceptionally tasty, distinctly better than other times we ordered. The breadsticks were soft and tasty as well. It was delivered hot without much wait at our doorsteps by a nice guy who made it by a SUV. For their great service on a day when many of the places are shut down, Vocelli deserves a five star...... and kudos of course!

While traveling, we stopped by Teddy's for a slice of pizza. The pizza was great, but most of all, we enjoyed spending time with the owners. We talked about the Bronx, raising children and grandchildren, and internet dating sites. These guys were the best. That weekend, we were staying at a luxury resort. Upon returning home, my wife, when asked about the weekend, didn't talk about the resort, she wanted to talk about the great guys she met at "Teddy's".

Picked up a spaghetti and meatballs lunch for two family members in the rehab hospital. They needed something soft enough to chew and swallow easily. They really enjoyed the spaghetti and salad. I had a cappuccino while waiting. It was great. I may return for dinner one day soon. The ziti sounds good for my next visit.
