Inspired by the farms, vineyards and waters of the Pacific Northwest, we at Pastini are dedicated to serving up two of lifeâs greatest pleasures⦠pasta and wine. We love how a steaming bowl of pasta warms your hands as well as your spirits. We love the so
I live alone and once a week I treat myself to Pastini's. Usually Spaghetti Con Gamberetti. Those who drink alcohol should try the Blood Orange Margerita. Heavenly. The manager Jeremy is a superb leader and his employees like him very much. Happiness and great pasta make place heaven on 9th St.
We went for my birthday dinner, mid-week. The place was bustling, the service prompt and gracious--the young man who greeted & seated us was exceptional--(wish I had gotten his name) and our waitress friendly and gracious. This will certainly be our go-to Italian eatery here in town. At last an Italian restaurant where there is a wider variety of vegetarian options than Fettuccini Alfredo or spicy marinara on spaghetti. I had the Tortellini Napoli and hubby had the Mushroom Ravioli with Marsala Butter Sauce. Both dishes were excellent. Many more that we want to sample, so we will certainly be returning.

Casual dining environment offering the best New York Style Pizza and a whole lot more! Fresh Salads, Authentic Calzones, Homemade Pastas, and Grinders on our own Fresh Baked Bread! Great craft beer selection on tap and a variety of local wines.
The pizza topping and sauce are pretty good. I do enjoy the garlic flavor on the crust as well. Really only 2 complaints. First is the crust. It's too floppy or almost soggy underneath the pizza itself which make it hard to pickup and eat without losing all your toppings. Second would be the menu needs more selections. Yes you can always make your own but you could always end up paying more that one. A good pizza joint will give you on average of at least 10 selections. Other than those 2 things I did enjoy my experience there and would have no problem eating there again.

Service was excellent. Food was tasty. Everyone in our party of 4 was pleased and that is rare. Dessert needs improvement. Tiramisu was not the best. Find someone that will make it and not defrost it. We will return.. So far in Albany, this is the only restaurant that has gotten a "Do over".

We stopped by to try a new downtown restaurant. We ordered two pasta dishes; whiskey chicken alfredo and an Italian spaghetti. Both were great. The simple and forward approach to good food and a relaxed diner style restaurant is perfect. We took food out and will do so more often.
